||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a Hoover - Air™ Steerable Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum - Silver - Model: UH72405 and had high hopes with all the high-tech features (app enabled, auto floor sensing) it advertised. Unfortunately the thing I needed it to do well, which is vacuum didn't impress me when compared to my Hoover Air. The Hoover React felt much heavier and bulkier and was difficult to maneuver especially in tight or low spaces (the canister part is quite top heavy so it's difficult to steer). The feature to use this as a canister vacuum is a good idea, but again, it's a bit bulky and awkward to carry around and the release switch for emptying the dust is super sensitive -- I dumped dust all over the place accidentally on several occasions. This vacuum looks cool and I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately after giving it a few tries, I had to return it.

I have hardwood floors and I don’t want the bush operating on my hardwood floors at all, but it takes the vacuum about 3 seconds to read that it has moved from carpet to hardwood and then change and turn off the brush. This may not seem like a long time, but over the course of the lifetime of the vacuum this can damage a high polish finished floor.

Not quite as lightweight as expected

I can’t reach ceiling fans or cobwebs in corners. Doing steps you have to bend way over. It does floors/carpeting fine so far. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you are only doing floors/carpeting.
