Does awesome on any floor. Has great suction with dealing with carpet or hardwood floors.

This vacuum works great so far. It is easy to push and has a good number of attachments. Surprisingly, it is much quieter than my old vacuum which was smaller and lower-powered. Very pleased. The only thing I would change is the location of the power switch. I would have put it on the handle for easier use.

Very powerful and efficient. Got this after my old one (bissel) stopped working. Used it couple times so far and completely satisfied.

Wasted $900 on 2 Dyson vacuums. So far we like this vacuum better than either of them. The quick cord winder is a cool feature.

We had a bulkier vacuum cleaner prior to owning this one. This one is much lighter and is picking up dirt well. The lighter weight makes taking it up and down the stairs easier. The cord is shorter than our previous vacuum and we have to change outlets multiple times for some of our larger rooms.

Most vacuums tend to feel a little heavy when using it but I must admit this one feels smooth & it's even better than a Shark

I really like my vacuum it has power, is easy to empty and the retractable cord is a real plus!

Our last Hoover vacuum cleaner lasted 10 years. This Hoover wind tunnel 2, has lots of power! We are happy with our selection!

Bought to replace a Eureka bagless 12 amp vacuum that had a plastic hinge on the canister break. I wanted another 12-amp vacuum cleaner because that's the power I need to suck up cat fur from our rugs. This one is much lighter than my 10+ yr old Eureka, making it easier to carry on the stairs, but the overall feel is that it's flimsy, especially the attachments. It's just as powerful in cleaning the fur from carpets, though. But my major complaint is that, unlike the Eureka, which has a canister that I can just unhinge over a plastic bag to empty out, this Hoover Wind Tunnel 2 REQUIRES that you put your hand inside to pull out the dust, fur, hair, etc. that gets stuck up at the top of the canister. It does not just fall out the way the debris would from the Eureka canister. This is a major design flaw! I've tried using chopsticks to dislodge the debris, but it's a messy process. When I read reviews that mentioned this, I thought these people might not have used a bagless vacuum before. But now I see the Hoover isn't designed correctly to let the debris fall out when the canister is opened or tapped over the garbage can... If I had put the vacuum together and used it within the time period when I could have returned it, I would have brought it back, but I bought it during the holidays and was too busy. (I used a carpet sweeper instead.)
