The flexible protector fits snugly on the Nintendo New 3DS XL system, protecting it form scratches, dirt, fingerprints, and more. Being transparent (clear), it wont cover up any of the special edition Nintendo New 3DS XL logos while at the same time preventing said logos from scratching or fading.

Best clear flexible case for your Limited edition new 3ds, only cons I would say are : adds a built of bulk and weight to your 3ds and it's a 2 piece case that slides to back of bottom and upper screen. Fits fairly snug. Otherwise pretty good investment.

I hve the majoras mask 3ds xl and wanted some protection for it. decals/vinyl isnt an option for me and some ebay plastic cases which i had for my 3ds xl old one scratched my 3ds. Ordered this one and am very impressed, i can confidently put down my 3ds xl anywhere and be sure that it wont be scratched.

It's nice. Thought it was going to be a harder plastic but it's more of a soft plastic. It adds a little bulk and kinda gets in the way of the power button game slot and stylus. But it serves its purpose of protecting the outer shell and sticker I put on it.

I use this same brand cover on my Yoshi edition. The image is clearly visible and easy to see, without the cover itself becoming a sight block. The material is well chosen as it feels very nice in the hands. I am excited for this newer case for the updated 3dsxl since I prefer the feel of the cover to the feel of the system itself, and also for protection against harmful scratches. I do not have a special edition console this time around so being able to see my color isn't a big deal, but the quality of the cover itself is indeed worth it. I am anticipating this products release so I can finally get a cover on my new 3ds, I can't stand it being so vulnerable to finger prints! scratches etc. Anyway, great buy if you are considering this, as I was very satisfied with the older generation cover. I've been waiting for a good protector for my New 3DS XL that I could by locally. Finally found this and it gets the job done. It's pretty good protection wise because it's a little bit thick and flexible. I didn't like that it isn't crystal clear, but I knew that from researching other reviews. It does seem like it isn't tight enough on the system, but it hasn't fallen off yet. I definitely like having it on so I can protect my systems from scratches. Until I find a thinner and clearer protector, this will be pretty good for now.

The HORI-Duraflexi Protector offers great exterior protection for your Nintendo 3DS. It is 2 flexible pieces that easily fit on the top and bottom of your 3DS further protecting the outer design of the system. However you will still need to protect the interior as well as your screens. It does have the benefit of making Nintendo DS easier to grip and fit carrying cases better as some cases make the system feel loose in the case. I recommend this case only if your looking for really good exterior protection.

The only protective case I'll ever need for your new Nintendo 3ds! Snug and perfect and also provides good grip. Clear color kinda makes the red versions look pinkish but not too much. Highly recommend!!

Love that the cover is clear since I purchased a red unit on purpose. And the flexible skin is easy to put on and take off; however, because of its flexibility, it's durability and protection for the unit is of some future concern. The cover also has to be removed if the charging base is used. Very inexpensive.

The case fits just perfect. The finish adds extra grip and it's very light.

The case is in two pieces and is real easy to put on the n3ds. At first I thought it would be flimsy, but it's pretty solid material. Not too expensive either. It doesn't cover the hinges and the side where the top screen pivots, but I understand why. Still a decent case for the price. Hori is always making quality accessories.

I bought this to protect my majoras mask 3ds xl, because quite frankly I was scared to use it otherwise out and about. its great protection while still being able to see the wonderful graphic design on the system, only wish they made the system purple.

Finally a case that does not sacrifice the design of yours 3ds xl. This is the best case on the market for a Zelda 3ds xl or monster hunter xl owner because the logos are still visible thanks to the transparent design. The case is also soft which makes the hinges more durable than a hard plastic case when dropped.

This case is truly one of the best cases for the new 3ds. It's easy to put on and remove and it gives your new 3ds the protection it needs. I have it on my hyrule edition 3ds and I am very satisfied

When I got the New 3DS XL, I was disappointed in Nintendo not releasing protective accessories for it right away, or licensing to those who could. I came across this at Best Buy, and liked that it was clear, which means I could still purchase decorative stickers, and be able to see them through the casing. The case snaps onto the case extremely easy, and stays on. Some of the corners are a bit flimsy, and I've had some issues of them falling off, but that is rare for how much I use and carry around the case. My kids also use my 3DS, so it holds up to 6 year old twins quite well too. My favorite part is it adds thickness to the case. I have large hands, so holding the 3DS sometimes hurt, but the case makes it a bit more comfortable in my hands, and it's not smooth like the 3DS, so it doesn't feel like it's slipping.

I have the Majora's Mask edition and wanted to have protection while still being able to see the design. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that it was silicone. It could provide more coverage for the hinge but I've had manyour compliments on how my DS looks.

I purchased the hori duraflexi case for my Nintendo new 3ds xl looking for protection of the system but also for a better grip as well. This product was great at adding that bit of grip i was looking for. Would buy again.

This cover is very minimal and does that perfect job of protecting your 3DS system. Take special caution not to leave it in direct sunlight because over time it will start to lose it's clear color and turn yellow.

This case fits well and should protect short falls. It is a shiny surface, but not as glossy as the new 3ds. So it gives a little more grip thankfully. I would recommend it and it is cheap.

This Hori Duraflexi case is great, it fits well and provides great protection without adding much bulk or weight to my New 3DS XL. It's easily installed and removed without feeling like it'll slip off and the flexible material feels like it would absorb some of the impact if I dropped my 3DS. The only downsides are that it picks up fingerprints easily and that the shoulder buttons are not protected, but few cases offer protection in those areas anyway. I would definitely recommend this case!
