I purchased this laptop for my 19-year old son. He's a freshman at state university and his highschool laptop died after Fall semester. He shopped around and selected this one for graphics, sound, memory, etc., and for the price, we're very pleased! My son games on it, streams movies, and now attends university online. This traveled with him back-and-forth to Indiana and Illinois twice and now is home in Texas.

I originally purchased an Acer gaming computer for my sons birthday but after having to exchange 3 of them because they all arrived with non-working keyboards (NIGHTMARE!!!), I finally decided upon this one. Thank Gawd my son loves it otherwise I'd probably be in the looney bin. I'm giving only 4 stars because of how traumatizing the experience was to get to the point of ordering this one. No complaints about the computer itself.

This might seem like a relatively simple complaint, and not entirely fair to judge the machine and the many functions it provides on one problem. Unfortunately in my case, this is an inexcusable issue and from what I can see online, a very prominent one with no solid solution that works. Put simply, there is a consistent 2-3 second audio delay when you plug in wired headphones. If that sounds silly to you? Then skip this review. To anyone who will find this irritating while watching videos, this might be something you can overlook. To anyone else, like me, who edits audio files for a hobby/living? This is a massive problem. I have spent a lot of time with this device and tried a lot of different solutions, and I am irritated enough that I have to even jump through all these hoops...but to see that this is consistent and NOTHING has been done about it? Enough is enough. So please beware when looking at anything HP related, sounds like this is a problem on ALL of their machines. Everything else is fine. Beautiful screen, gorgeous design, I love the green accents. Performs well enough for being a little older. Just that one problem is enough to say this is going to have to be returned. Horrible shame.

was very glad the salesperson was able to steer me toward it and it fits exactly what my needs at this time are...and YESSS would recommend it to others. As well as the way I was treated at Best Buy, I felt you actually cared about my needs and not just looking to sell a product. I used to obtain my stuff from the Worcester store, but it closed and I found the store in Leominster had the same quality of people, so that is my go to store now.

Great school and gaming laptop. Delivered a week before schedule!!
