Decent basic notebook for the money

Doesn't do anything flashy, but what do you expect at this price point? HD is slow, but 1TB. Memory is okay at 6GB of RAM. Probably wouldn't recommend this as this was purchased to meet an immediate need. There's better out there at this price, but you may have to hunt around and/or wait for a deal. Pros: Price, DVD+/-RW (if you need that) Cons: Low resolution, glossy screen

Best bang for the buck out there

It can play World of WArcraft and Diablo on low settings easily at 20 to 40 fps. It can keep multiple browser tabs open at the same time. While the 5200 rpm hard drive, the usual slow drive found in most laptops, won't win any awards this one at 1 terrabyte is a keeper. Plus a dvd/cd burner is included. This would be great for college bound youngsters or for those home bound to be able to reach out to the world via social media or even as an inexpensive back up computer. Best Buy's staff were outstanding.
