I am very satisfied with my 17.3-inch HP laptop. I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase so far. I've had it 12 days and it seems to be running pretty smoothly for the $558 price for an open box 17.3" 1 TB SSD 16GB intel i7 processor computer. The pros: plenty of storage, reasonably smooth processor. Good for running multiple business applications. Similar experience to the last laptop I had with the same specs. Cons: short battery life. If I squeeze, I can get 4 hrs of use out of it. Nowhere near 10 hrs! The camera is grainy and dim in virtual meeting applications. It's made of pretty cheap materials. The outside of the case isn't has a lot of give and isn't very hard to you'll need to be EXTREMELY careful with it, the text is already starting to wear off of the keys. I wish it had 2 USB C type ports, but there's only one which makes it harder to complete fast drive to drive video transfer. Other than that it's not bad. The last open box I bought from Best Buy I had to bring back and send back to ASUS for repair. Keeping my fingers crossed for this HP.

So far so good, computer is working great. We love the large screen and the wife loves the key board. The only thing we miss is there is no SD card slot.

Great, compact and high speed laptop. I had an older version and was in love with it so we needed an extra laptop and decided to get the exact same one. Instead we got this newer version which I simply couldn´t be more happy with. I am convinced HP takes improvements seriously.

I loved it because it was a gift for my father, and the girl who helped me was the best; she treated me well and was very helpful. I had bought things there before, but now I can say it's one of my favorite stores.

I had some Best Buy gift cards to burn and came across this Christmas deal. Great laptop, clear 17.3" display, 1TB of drive space and solid build, not a plastic casing. Very happy with the purchase.

This replaced my 2021 HP laptop that has a pink screen(which would have been to expensive to diagnose/repair. So far so good. I use it for emails, having multiples tabs and browsers open. The screen is nice as the one I had was only 720p. The newer processor, ram, and ssd was a huge boost.

Great laptop for working from home with a VM, but after only two months, the writing on the keyboard keys faded.

I purchased this product on 9/18/2025. 5 weeks later (10/23/25) the most used keys "A,S,E,F,T,I,etc" are unreadable. Yesterday I stopped at the Best Buy it was purchased at and was told to contact HP. Today I contacted HP and they told me Best Buy is responsible. I made a 68 mile trip back to the store and they said "sorry, but we can't help you. this is HP's responsibility". I now have a $900 5 week old laptop that needs to have stickers put on the keyboard to make it usable. Needless to say but this is my last purchase of an HP product and I will be very leery of buying anything expensive at Best Buy. I have attached a photo of the keyboard if anyone from HP or Best Buy wants to see the problem.
