The HP DeskJet 2827e is a budget friendly printer that can print, copy, and scan. • Unboxing and Setup – The printer is nicely packed in a small box with minimal cardboard and plastic waste. A setup guide is included which is easy to follow. Remove and discard all the tape and cardboard securing the printer. Once plugged in make sure you have the HP app downloaded to your computer or phone to finish setup. Note the printer only supports 2.4 GHz networks so if you have a dual/tri/mesh network you may have to disable your other bands. Install the ink according to the diagram in the guide and you are ready to print. On initial setup the printer will prompt to print a few test pages for calibration. • Design – It has a “standard” printer look with a compact footprint. There is a small display on the left side of the printer with relevant information such as error codes, wireless status, estimated ink levels, etc. It has a 60-sheet input tray with print speeds up to 5.5 ppm color and 7.5 ppm black. • Smart Features and Cartridges – This must be one of the most anti-consumer things I have seen a company do. When setting up the printer you have the option to enable HP+ smart features. Some of these features include intelligent, cloud-based connectivity, advanced HP app, improved warranty, mobile scan and file sharing. Sounds great right? If you choose to do this, you must agree to only use genuine HP cartridges and it permanently disables remanufactured/third party cartridges. If you decline you get another warning saying HP will actively work to block non-HP cartridges through firmware updates. This is all in the name of “protecting the customer experience and protecting intellectual property”. • Instant Ink – A subscription-based service that ensures you buy HP ink. While they do offer a discount, there is no reason you should not be able to use 3rd party options. Overall, if you want a budget-friendly printer and you don’t mind being forced to buy expensive genuine HP cartridges then you should consider this product. I cannot recommend this product due to the anti-consumer choices made by HP. Buy from a different brand.

Mostly got it for tax season coming up. Like that its small ans wireless and fits basically anywhere printing shows up well. Not sure how long the ink will last or how much is to replace but so far so good. Im happy with my purchase.

I haven't used the printer much, but so far, it prints well. Setup went fairly well. Seems like when I try to print multiple pages from different documents, if I don't wait until one is done printing, something goes awry and the previous page prints part of the page or the new page doesn't get into the queue. I have not had time to troubleshoot this issue yet. I am used to loading many items in the queue at once and they print as they come up in the queue. Scanner works well from the paper feed or glass. I joined the HP ink program, as I do not print much, but brand name ink is so expensive. The monthly price is reasonable and waiting until my trial period is over to assess my monthly needs.

I ignored the many negative reviews and got this insanely low-priced HP DeskJet 2827e printer. I'm still in a state of shock about how great this printer is! The bottom line is that it works great and is relatively easy to set up. If you're looking to replace or upgrade an existing defective or outdated printer, simply disconnect the connectors from the old unit and connect them to the new 2827e. Absolutely no issues so far (only a few weeks since purchase)! I have been running over Wi-Fi with no problems at all! Great unit! My IT guy can't believe I got this thing so cheap!!! Just so you know, I suck at computer stuff, if that helps you decide about this thing... oh, and the 3-month free ink is the icing on the cake!!!

I needed something for a small space but also good quality, I found it! Connects well, prints well, scans well, easy ink cartridges Install and replacement. No complaints so far.

This hp printer is wonderful. Prints nice a nd clear and wireless works great. Very easy to set up. I bought 2. One for myself and one for my 34 tear old son.

This HP printer is the ideal product for mobile printing, scanning, faxing etc. It is easy to connect and use. The quality of the prints are impeccable and I recommend this for anyone who are students and/or has a small office

I'm a fan. Easy set up, simple to use. I replaced an earlier version of this same printer, which served me for years. It's also a nice size, and does not have a ton of unnecessary and annoying features.

I love it, so easy to use. I get great results with this printer. The printed pages are clear, well colored and looks like a photograph. The HP team is also amazing! I am now set up with the never run out of ink feature. I love that too. They will be sending me ink and paper for a very small fee. I love this so glad I got it.

Great little printer and good value for the money. Easy setup. Had an HP 3830 for many years until it died. If you compare the 2, the HP 3830 had more features and was more solidly built. However, the HP 2827 does work well and I'm satisfied,

Easy to use and set up. Wireless option so you don’t have to worry about connecting any wires. Only wish is that it came in a darker color. White is nice but more upkeep

I’m very happy with this new HP printer. It’s very user-friendly and super convenient, even for someone who is not very tech-savvy. This printer was very easy setup. It prints well and we use the scan option which also works well. This is a good everyday printer. We did not setup of the Instant Ink, so I am not sure what options are with that offer.
