Easy to use...user friendly. I love it! It works great

This printer is a good home and office printer and one of the things that attracted me to this printer was the price. This printer provides very clear and wonderful prints and it is quite efficient when it prints. Some printers move slow and takes forever to print a document but this one is quite the opposite. This printer is one that I chose for home use. It's good for printing work documents, school reports recipes etc. You can't go wrong with the purchase of this printer not only is it economical for the price, it prints fast and when it comes to the updates, they are automatically done. This printer is easy to set up and pairs well with your smart phone, and home computers as well as tablets. I believe the ink is fairly priced. they offer a high yield and low yield as far as ink is concerned. I thought that this would be a good printer to send with your kids going off to college, it doesn't break the bank and it holds up really well. Purchasing this printer is a very good investment.

Disappointed that Hp won’t allow discontinued replacement ink cartridges for printer that still functions so opted to buy the desk jet 4255e printer and was pleasantly surprised at the speed of printing, ink resolution, and very light weight to move from room to room. Couldn’t enroll in Free Hp ink for some reason, otherwise I am glad to have it.

At first I had trouble getting it to work but then I realized what I was doing wrong and believe I’m on a roll.

This is a great printer for the home or small home based business. The out of box experience was great, no issues with the setup at all. Once the box was opened, everything was packaged nicely, even the printer was shrink wrapped. Then a few simple steps to get it on the network and start to print. The box has the two ink cartridges included and they were easy to install. This printer does not have a network port on it, only a USB connector that is typical of most printers. The setup requires you to install the HP Smart printer app. Then once it is installed, it shows you the steps to get the printer on your network. The printer was easy to add to Windows 10, Windows 11, and easy to add to a Chromebook with no issues at all. The scanner worked easily, both the flatbed scanner and the document feeder had no issues. HP does require you to create an account to be able to take full advantage of everything that the app has to offer. Overall, this printer worked as expected and there were no issues with the setup and using it.

For home and school, this printer is perfect. It prints beautifully in color and in black and white. We are very happy with this printer.

Pretty sure this nay be the worst printer I've ever owned. I've met more productive bricks; atleast they're doing what they're designed to do. I can't get this thing to connect back to the wifi to save my life. After a handful of successful print jobs, it just went "nah." I'm good on never buying another HP anything ever again after dealing with this piece of trash.

Difficult to conect to wifi it would not connect wireless so I return it.

the best budge printer to buy it does great when printing photos

This "printer" is horrible. Poor WiFi connectivity and fails HP Print and Scan doctor diagnostic. When connected to PC via USB, the function to scan is deactivated. Don't waste your time.
