I am not a technical person so I needed a printer I could easily set up and connect to all of my devices. This printer meets that need and prints nicely. I have not played with the scanner function but the copier works nicely too. I am, however disappointed in the need to have a subscription to the ink aspect of this device. The materials say that you can purchase the ink with out the subscription, however, to receive the "3 months free" I had to sign up.

Im pleasently surprised with this printer. Not only was the set up simple and quick, but the ability to print from the laptop, my phone, and the desktop was also quite easy to manage. The printing is sharp and crisp and the printer does not take up much room at all. Im pleased with this selection.

I’ve been using the HP Envy 6555e Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer for a week now, and overall, I’d say it’s been a solid addition to my home office setup. It covers my basic print needs like-printing, scanning, and copying. It has some nice wireless features that make it easy to use across devices, like going from my computer to my wife’s laptop. There’re some areas where it falls short, but I think the price point makes a good argument for it.
Design and Build:
One of the first things I noticed was its design. It has a sleek, modern look that fits perfectly in my workspace without being bulky. The white finish gives it a clean, professional appearance, and it’s compact enough to sit on a desk without taking over the whole area. I love this because I’ve had to rig some sort of pop up table for my previous printers. The touchscreen interface is also nice, making it easy to switch between functions quickly.
Performance:
I’ve had this for about a week, and so far it does what it promises. Print quality is great for both documents and photos, especially considering this is an inkjet. Whether I’m printing color images or plain text, everything has come out crisp and clear. It’s not the fastest printer, though. If you need to print large documents regularly, you might find yourself waiting a bit longer than you’d like, but for light to moderate use, it works just fine. Again, I’d consider a different printer if you’re regularly printing presentation packets of 20 pages.
Connectivity and Setup:
Setting up the printer was straightforward, and I had no issues connecting it to my Wi-Fi network or syncing it with my phone using the HP Smart app. It does take longer than other printers because it kinda sets itself up as it goes so you’re waiting a lot. Most of the time I was just sitting next to the printer while it booted up, then connected, aligned the printer, connected to wifi, etc. and it took 21 minutes. Also, the app crashed three times during setup, so that was annoying. Not a dealbreaker, but annoying.
The app is pretty cool! I really like that I can select photos from my phone and print them. It’s really cool that I’ve been able to print from my phone or laptop without plugging anything in. While it works well for the most part, it can be a bit slow or unresponsive at times. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I can imagine this might be a problem if someone is in a hurry.
Instant Ink:
So I’ve only had the printer for a week and don’t need a restock yet, but I like that this can potentially order it for you. Honestly, how many of us have tried to print and it’s out of ink so we gotta go to Best Buy to get a new cartridge?! I’ve been there too many times. I like the idea that the printer can automatically order ink when it’s running low. It might not be for everyone, but I think it’s a cool perk!
Pros:
Great print quality for documents and photos.
Compact design that fits well in most spaces.
Easy wireless setup and printing from mobile devices.
Touchscreen interface is user-friendly.
Automatic ink ordering with the Instant Ink program.
Solid build quality for home or small office use.
All-in-one functionality (print, scan, copy).
Three months of free ink with HP Instant Ink.
Cons:
Print speed is slower, especially for larger documents.
HP Smart app can be a little buggy or slow at times.
Two-cartridge ink system might not be as efficient, especially for heavy color printing.
Final Thoughts:
It’s a solid, versatile printer that handles most tasks well, and it looks good while doing it. The print quality is excellent, and the wireless functionality makes it convenient for anyone working from home or in a small office. The setup was painless, though the app could use some improvements, and the print speed could be faster. But for the price, it’s a strong performer and a good choice for everyday printing. If you need a reliable all-in-one that won’t break the bank, this one’s worth considering. Just don’t expect blazing-fast print speeds

I love this printer! It was so easy to put on line…I was using it in 15 minutes after I took it out of the box.
Online instructions were easy to follow. Easy to enable WiFi. Only cable needed is to plug it in to power.
Great copies produced by the printer right away after set-up and I needed pages printed right away!
Reviews call this a great Home Use Printer and it is!
My old printer is going to a Charity thrift store right away and it’s only 2 years old. My new HP Printer is exactly what I need!

I set up my printer and ran copies. They worked very well. I ran several prints and they were beautiful but when I tried that again it would not work. I'm going to try to do it again but so far I continue to get signals saying the printer is not accessed. I'm sure we'll work this out. I will call for help.
