I purchased this item, never having had a solid state drive before. The Windows 10 system boots up in less than 15 seconds from pushing the button to start the computer, to the login screen and home page being up and ready to go! Never buying a non solid state drive for the OS again !!! Waste of time... This is the best computer I have purchased! (18 so far)

I find this computer to be perfect for e-mail and Microsoft Office which is all I use it for right now. It has enough memory and power to be productive at a nice price.

A complete package. I have never owned a computer with both a standard hard drive combined with a solid state drive. With the operating system and programs on the solid state drive, the computer flies.

This PC has two drives. An SSD hard drive for fast loading, and a 1 TB hard drive for the rest. With the SSD drive dedicated to the O.S. It boots up in about 10 seconds. Obviously it may slow down some if you load it with a bunch of stuff that needs to start in the background, I chose not to do that. The sound card audio is average. It has plenty of USB ports, on top and on the back. Standard 3.5 MM jacks for speakers or headset, and microphone. With 12GB of ram it does well for surfing.

I am really happy on how well this computer has worked, it is very fast and over all was a good buy for me. I have had no issues with it. The only complaint is the hard drive space was a little small given how big hard drives are then. I love that they did a SD drive and a internal hard drive.

Very fast computer - very happy with choice - only thing I would change is that the USB ports are on the top of the computer instead of the front. Difficult to find without standing up out of my chair.

I went to Best Buy to purchase a no Sh.. lap top. I don't game so I didn't need a mega machine. The very knowledgeable rep pointed me to this one. I am by no means a computer wizard but I remember him saying this one has an "electronic" drive verses a hard drive or something in that order. I wanted speed and memory. Any who, that pretty much maxed out my brain and I bought it. Very satisfied.

This is an excellent computer for surfing the net, reading e-mails, Rosetta Stone, ect. More than enough speed (if there is such a thing) for my needs.

I bought this because my Laptop was wearing out. I chose this model due to the SSD drive. I should have gotten 256 GB but the 128 is fine. I just have to be careful to store all data and pictures on the Fixed D drive. The computer boots in 15 seconds from stone cold and is very responsive to my tasks. I do not play games or run sophisticated programs, just mainly the basics and some video and picture editing. This is a very good computer for the price.

I bought this computer as a Christmas gift for my high school age son. So far it has been working great. We used a monitor that we already owned and it was easy to connect everything. It is fast and powerful, has a lot of storage and does everything that he needs... and will for years to come. It will probably last him all the way through medical school too!

I went with this computer to replace two old laptops and a desktop that had run out of storage space and had gotten way too slow. You can really tell the difference with this computer! web pages load instantly, page refreshes are great, and there is so much storage that transferring all of my old music and photos from three computers hasn't even put a dent in the storage space of this computer. This computer is perfect for a family home computer.

I usually build my own computers, but when my dad needed a new one, I thought I might be able to find one that met his needs and didn't require me to make a big time investment. This model is at the breakpoint of price to features...plenty of RAM, a real Intel CPU, etc. it support multiple monitors, and it has plenty of storage. The only downside is the terrible amount of pop ups that start appearing to try to get you to sign up for a bunch of preistalled junk. That is being addressed on a case by case basis.

This PC was purchased for an office as a test and comparison to the older i5 PCs with comparable RAM running Windows 7 and 8 and HDD as boot drives. With the combination of the SSD, the faster newer gen processor (still an i5) and Windows 10, this PC is a great value for the price paid. We then bought a second. It is so much faster, the users are quite pleased!

I've heard a lot about HP. Never had one of these computers before. Decided to make the purchase did my research and found how fast is computer was how much memory it had offer for the price value. Once I got the computer home I can't tell you how impressed I was with the features how easy was to use it was unbelievable thanks for making a great product HP

Computer works great! Fast, decent graphics, good memory!

Had this several years now without a problem. SSD makes it fast. 1TB hard gives plenty of room for files. 12 GB of memory can be a little low because of memory hog programs like Chrome and Quicken. Either close the programs and start over or I may increase the memory. Good desktop

I recently purchased the HP Envy computer and 27" HP Monitor with Bose speakers. The computer is very attractive, quiet and fast! The sound is fantastic. I have only been using it for a few weeks and so far, I am extremely pleased. My only negative, it came with a wireless mouse and keyboard and the keyboard is small 15" x 5". In some ways that is nice; compact, easy to move around on desk. I am using it now and I may grow to love it. The service at Best Buy was tops. The sales associate was by far the most knowledgeable and polite person I have dealt with when it comes to electronics! My son is a tech guy and recommended the HP Envy. No pressure or trying to upsell me. Not sure if you want me to give his name out, if ok, I will at a later date when I do a follow up review.
