Bought this printer not knowing that this printer requires a subscription to HP+ to continue printing after 6 months. True to form, 6 months after the purchase the error light lit up, and the printer won’t print! I tried purchasing another print cartridge, but that didn’t work. Looking over my event logs for my router I noticed a firmware update came from HP through the WiFi network on - You guessed it! The 6-month anniversary of purchase/setup. This printer is now a brick unless you “subscribe”. I am returning or exchanging this item tomorrow. VERY misleading business practice here !!

Its a great printer, very easy to use and easy to set up

Printer works well when it works. The nightmare started when I tried to connect it to a different network. Forget it. After hours of battling with the HP "support" site, the HP Smart app (there is NOTHING smart about it) - I am giving up. I hope I can exchange this printer for something more user friendly. It should not be this complicated to set up a 100 dollar printer.

Great value printer! Easy to set up, had it up and running within 10 minutes! Great looking document, and super quiet. If you're in the market for a personal use black & white printer, and don't care if it's not super fast, this is the one for you!

Neither my son nor I were able to set this printer up with my laptop. I will have to have a geek squad member to come to my house to do it. i will call for that soon. thank you. maureen mccorkle

Great little printer was easy to set up took all of five minutes use it when we need Prince prints fast clear everything is great would recommend if you just need a printer for every day random use.

Great little laser printer, worth the cost on ink savings alone.

This printer was a great investment. I usually had inkjet printers that cost more due to the ink drying up. This printer is fast, doesn’t take up alit of space and convenient. Set up was easy, I don’t recall any difficulty.

I imagine they sell this low quality product to collage students, fully expecting the product to break in the short term and then they bank on the student being too busy with life to deal with the insane product return process of hoops to jump through to get a refund. Worst product I've ever purchased. Broke after a short period of time and then HP did everything in their power to not to honor the warranty. Ridiculous amount of obstruction to get them to take the printer back for a refund. I proved absolutely it was a manufacture defect. It took months of back and forth to get a shipping label to return the product. It felt very predatory, to be sold a product that breaks and then experience an almost impossible amount of friction to get ones money back. I'll never buy a HP product again.

This is a good little printer. It was tricky at first to get it to connect to the machine as I did not want to use Wifi, but after some trial and error, the machine was able to connect through the cable, and print just fine.

Purchased for in-store pickup which went very smoothly..couldn't be happier with purchase! Also received first toner shipment within 10 days of bringing printer home. Prints great, very compact--space saver!

Extremely simple setup using the HP+ App. Linked right up to wireless network and allowed printing on everything from PC to iPhones very simply. Pages print fast and accurately.

So far, the printer works fine. Our sales lady was excellent helping us pick out a printer most suitable to our needs. Our Geek Squad person took great care setting it up for us in our home and making sure everything worked properly.

What we love about this printer is it compactness. It is easy to use. It is quiet. It can be easily placed on a study desk together with a laptop and one has a very functional work station. The best laser printer we have had. Very satisfied with this one.

Like the compact size and prints well. Takes a minute to grab the paper but would buy again. The price was very affordable. Was challenging to get loaded on my laptop but that could be my inability not the printer fault.

This printer is amazing, compact and wireless so it does no take up much room. The print is very good and it is an inkjet so I do not have to spend a fortune on ink cartridges. Great purchase..

It prints clearly and it's exactly what i needed since retiring from my job. Needed a personal printer small enough for my home space. So happy with it.

So far, so good. You aren’t required to sign up for their monthly toner fee if you don’t want to. I’ve heard headaches ensue if you do. Just skip it and buy it when you need it.
