Buyer Beware

I am so sorry to hear that you received what sounds like a used printer. I can imagine how disappointing and disconcerting this must have been, so I want to provide information to help you make it right.
First, I can’t say for sure what happened in your situation, but what you describe can occur when a printer is sold, returned to the seller, then sold again to a different buyer without being adequately inspected before shipment.
Because you expected to receive a new printer with all the necessary components, I recommend you contact the seller to address this promptly. You can do that by scrolling to the bottom of the Best Buy website and clicking Orders & Returns.

WIFI connectivity issues and HP software

Only wireless made it much harder. Tried 5 different devices, Mac , Windows, mobile etc. None could connect. Spent SEVERAL HOURS... Instructions are very primitive and did not help. (2) HP software has limited capability to solve connectivity problems. Had to call HP support. (3) as expected, that took a long time. The support staff were polite and tried to help. First day, it did not work. Called again the next day, the HP support staff took remote control of my MacBook pro, didn't work. Fortunately, I have also a Windows 10 laptop. Remotely, he controlled the laptop, and managed to establish wifi printing. HP has pretty good customer support staff, so the Star is for them (5-star for the support technician). (4) The next time that I tried to print, the printer did NOT turn on..... DEAD....! I returned mine back to BestBuy (their customer service has been excellent, since a few years experience.) ....(5) I read others's reviews. My conclusions are: (a) the printer sent to me must have had quality controll issues, and perhaps I just had bad luck with this printer. It's hard to say. (b) I am looking to replace it with another HP printer that is more expensive, with USB connectivity [ not just wireless, like M110we ] . I hope a more expensive HP product could also bring me luck with quality and a printer that works. ...... My recommendations to HP printer section: (A) Please revise the instructions by better, clearer statements, at least online so HP can improve the instructions. (B) Quality control is VERY IMPORTANT.... And it matters for the reputation of an American business such as HP... Look into where the chain is broken and why such disappointing products are allowed to be sent to distributors. (C) The ONLY WIFI connectivity is a bad idea for M110we.... HP support had to bypass it, and connect the printer and laptop with a USB 2.0 cable (of course, with issues about HP software and digging into Windows 10 installation, rather than HP software installation) before trouble-shooting the wifi connectivity.

Plus tge set up having to use a phone app to get it running or recognized. Then sometimes having to redo the entire set up.. so much for technology or putting the customer last

The ink is not readily available unless you purchase the HP+ which is comparable to just sending your print job to UPS.

Good little printer.

Plastic doors feel a bit flimsy, but I have seen worse. Nice little printer.
