Very easy to use this product, customer service is a nightmare and the quality of printing even on Best is not that great. If you need it for printing just basic then it’s good.

An excellent laser printer. Easy set up. Easy to link to home WiFi network for remote printing. I particularly like the fact that you can sign up for automatic accessory deliveries including ink. Highly recommend for home office use.

It works and is fast. It’s cheaply made compared to the Ione I previously owned. Hard to install had to go online to search for driver’s definitely not a plug and play install.

When I moved my new WiFi required a newer printer. Best Buy had a special on another HP laser printer that seemed to offer easy installation and dependability (like the HP one) I was replacing. I was able to install it and am pleased with it in my new home!

Seems to be working well now. Not the fault of the laser jet printer but had quite the time finding the icon for printing after the geek squad left. Most be a common thing, as is discussed via google and youtube. Thanks Dorine

Great hardware, don't get forced buying the tonor

The printer itself is an absolutely delightful compact one-side printing no-frills black & white laser printer. When you click "print," it starts spitting out pages within a few seconds. Compared to my inkjets which spend about 5 full minutes preparing to print, this alone brings tears of joy. What is not great is that HP is so very aggressive about trying to lock you in to using THEIR tonor (or ink) because, let's be frank, that's where the REAL money is in printers. You have to opt out of their ridiculous program that forces you to buy their ink and, in doing so, lose out on warranty and support. The good news here is you CAN still use aftermarket tonor (which, guess what - works almost exactly as well for 50-75% less cost) and truthfully you really don't need to worry about warranty and support because the hardware is great and very straightforward to use if you are marginally computer literate. For my purposes, this is a fantastic value and I will not be spending more for HP tonor despite their insistence, but I expect many years of use out of this great little laser printer.

The initial wireless set up of the M110we hp printer using my PC did not go well. The website did recommend using a mobile device and not a PC, but the app required iOS 14.0 or later and my iphone has iOS 12.0. The hp Smart app would find the M110we printer, but then would want to set up my existing hp Envy printer instead. After fighting with it for over an hour, I used a different phone that could install the app using the QR code found at 123.hp.com and I was done with the set up in a couple of minutes. My advice is to follow hp’s recommendation and do the set up using a mobile device. The information about this printer says that wireless operations are only compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connections, but it connected using my router which is 5 GHz. I was also able to print documents from Google Docs using my phone and the 5 GHz wireless connection. The printer is a tiny little thing. With the input and output trays folded in, it’s only 6 inches tall, 13 inches wide and 7 inches deep. It weighs just over 8 pounds so could be easily moved. The control buttons are simple. There is an on/off button, wireless button and a feed/stop button. The buttons are on the front and easy to get to. The printer is very fast. The specifications say it prints 21 pages per minute and the time to print the first page is 8.3 seconds. I found that when printing from a PC, it actually prints in about 2 seconds. It did take longer (maybe 8.3 seconds) to print from a phone. It has a USB port that requires an internet connection to work. The input tray is said to hold 150 sheets of paper and the output bin 100 sheets. I haven’t tried printing 100 sheets at one time, but I’m skeptical that the output bin would hold that many. After the 3rd or 4th sheet, I found the papers wanted to fly off the end. It does kick them out pretty fast. It doesn't like shipping label stock. It had a difficult time feeding the page in, and once it did, it chewed it up and spit it out sideways. It did OK with heavy card stock and had no problem at all with regular printer paper. The installed starter toner will work without enrollment in the hp Instant Ink subscription program, but the user must agree to use only genuine hp toner for the life of the printer. I don't know if it will be possible to override the setting or if a generic toner will be available at a later date. There is an option to sign up for the Instant Ink subscription program within 7 days of installing the printer to get 6 months of free ink - up to 1500 pages per month. The subscription can be easily cancelled at any time. Hp will monitor the toner level via the internet and ship new toner when needed. It is important to understand how Instant Ink works and read all the fine print. The 6 free months are great, but deciding whether to continue requires some research. After the free 6 month period, a plan has to be chosen based on the estimated number of pages that will be printed monthly. There are emails from hp during the free 6 months with actual usage figures to help in choosing the right plan. 50 pages cost $1.99/month and 100 pages $3.99 (4 cents a page) with the ability to rollover unused pages. If, however, the estimated number of pages is exceeded, hp will charge the credit card on file for additional sets at 10 cents/page. If the subscription is cancelled, hp will remotely disable the subscription toner and may require that any unused toner be returned to them. Prior to cancellation, it is advisable to have some non-subscription toner on hand because once the subscription is cancelled, the printer is disabled. This printer takes hp toner 141A (950 page yield) which I found for $85 directly from hp and $48 from other sources. That works out to between 9 and 5 cents/page. Generic toner sells for approximately 2 cents/page. With my other hp Instant Ink printer I was able to get the free 6 months of toner and then purchase generic toner at half the cost of the cheapest genuine hp toner. If you truly have to use only hp toner in this printer, then Instant Ink will save money as long as the monthly print limit isn’t exceeded. The free 6 months of toner with up to 1500 pages/month makes this printer a good deal, especially for someone who does a lot of printing. What to do at the end of the free 6 months will take some thought and research. Personally, I don’t like to count pages or worry about going over my limit. I also don't like hp snooping in my printer without my knowledge and adding surprise charges to my credit card.

For a laser printer under $100, this HP printer is really good. I like the small footprint. Makes it easy to fit in a small space. We mainly print text or invoices, so the B&W print quality is good and the printer is fast.
