Simple and inexpensive

You have to buy cables just to print

I hated that you had to go through so much crap just to get it to print. No I did not want nor need all the stupid make an account so I could use. I ended up having to go back to the store and buy cables to connect to my laptop in order to use it. After 2 days of stupid stuff I placed it in the trash.

Black only laser printer.

Requires internet service to use and set up. It can be used without internet, but only after you get it set up, using the internet. Good technical support will walk you thru the process and help you along the way. Set up instructions aren’t worth the paper it is printed on. But… good customer support!

Worst electronics purchase in the last 20 years

The software is crap and annoying, the printer wont' stay connected to wifi, HP's help documentation is beyond worthless, and they try to harass you into signing up for a monthly toner subscription plan that 99% of the population does not and never will need. Don't make my mistake, buy literally any other brand and rest easy knowing you don't have to deal with this nightmare. Will avoid all HP products going forward, it's that bad.

Good basic b&w printer/scanner/copier

Was easy to set up. I’ve only run into an issue once with it being offline (not sure what causes that to happen). I wish it had an actual paper tray instead of the fold down tray as it makes it take up more space. It’s still better than the back feeding vertical trays I’ve had in the past. I have not used enough to be able to give it a higher rating but so far happy with it.

Complicated

Found out it was very confusing to setup, then even more confusing to access it from other computers. Won't scan. Won't print. It is a complicated task to use it. Just don't want to touch it again. I am looking for a printer which does double sided prints easily, with out reading web pages again and again
