Having only owned ink printers since I started using printers, using a laswer printer was a breath of fresh air. Out of the box you get the printer, power plug, and inserts. That's it, that simple. Set up is easy. You download the HP app, click the plus button, and you simply follow the prompts to add the printer. The app helps you connect your printer to wifi, as well as letting you see how much capacity the toner has remaining as well as other options like printing from afar, etc. It took me roughly less than 5 minutes from unpacking the printer, to printing out the test documents. The main word here is simplicity. If this printer could do color printing, I would never go back to ink. Alas, it does not, so I'll have to keep using my old printer for photos and color documents. All in all, it's a great printer, easy to use, and prints really fast.

We are happy with this printer. We have been using it for around 6 months or more, without experiencing any problems. We were looking for a basic, inexpensive, but reliable, printer and this one works great. Although it prints in black/white it will "scan" in color so emailed documents are in color. Inexpensive and a good value in my opinion. Very (very!) easy to use.

Easy to use,clear prints. Quiet processing Fits well into my home decor. There really isn’t much more to say about it. I enjoy its compact size and portability. Pretty easy to use and set up. The HP app does everything you want it to do. We bought this as a printer/scanner to have at our vacation home, which means renters have been using it, too. So far it's been bulletproof, and being wireless, it means renters can easily print to it without going through a lot of fiddly setup. **Skip the subscription for printer cartridges! We thought it would be a good idea, but then realized we'd never print enough to make it worthwhile. So we have a new, in the box cartridge, but since we cancelled during the "trial" period, we can never use the cartridge or HP will bill our credit card for the membership. Unless you have a home business, are a student, or have kids that need to print a LOT of stuff, skip the subscription service.

Works great. I use it wirelessly in my home. After I installed it, it automatically appeared as a printer for all my devices connected to my home wifi. I have not used the scanner yet. After 10 months of using it, it just didn't communicate with any device in my home. I had to call customer service and spent an hour with them getting it to work again. It works just like before now.

compact, easy to set up and print. prints much faster than a inkjet printer. ink cartridges dry out, toner lasts longer.

I like how it compact and does everything that a printer and copier needs to perform. It is for a great price too. You won't regret purchasing it. I purchased high end printers in the past that were complete disappointment after less than a year of use. I have this printer and still working perfectly.

It printing is clear and it doesn’t take up the entire table. It's wireless which makes it convenient because I do most of my computer work in another room

I have bought this from Best Buy and I really like this printer is very small and it’s very print. Quality it is very good and cheap.

The printer works well. It is quick and printing quality is excellent. The set up was time consuming and complicated. It said I had to do an update to get it started. I was told that I had to use the geek squad since I didn’t know how to update. Pay for either an in home visit for $159 or bring the printer back in and return it and then purchase it again and buy the geek squad maintenance package. Also Another option was to bring the printer, router and my iPad in and see if they could help me. A friend said that wasn’t necessary and updated it from his phone. It worked fine for About 12 copies. Then it stopped and a message appeared that it was only temporary and I had too further update it again. I made another appointment with the geek squad. But this friend came over and updated it again from his phone. It has worked well since. I have talked with other people who can’t understand why the update couldn’t be done in an easier manner. This was a very frustrating issue and it seemed to me that I was being told that it was more complicated than it really was.

This is a very nice, small printer that works well. I found it on the Best Buy website and had decided I would like an HP printer, because my Mom has one and I have had them before at some previous workplaces, and they were always good printers. They had it right there in the Best Buy store and I was able to buy it and wheel it out to my car on the cart. It is lightweight and cute! I have printed some things and it works well. HP is a very good brand!
