Actually it was acting up within 3 months. We lived with it for a while and then asked Bust Buy for some help. Tried HP online support, that didn't work either.

We originally wanted color and double sided, but this printer's printing quality is very good and clear. The design is nice, modern and small, so it can fit anywhere. It seems to be pricey for such a simple printer. But averall we are satisfied.

It arrived within 1 day even though the estimated delivery window was 5-10! It's great to see Best Buy have high demand items in stock even through such tough times with supply chain. This is a perfect, compact inkjet printer for my small shipping business. Prints quick with no issues. Install was a breeze and I consider myself to be a little slow with technology! Overall great - thanks to the best buy team!

You have to install their HP Smart app - you can't just install a driver and move on. You also MUST use HP OEM toner cartridges - even if you are able to find compatible cartridges at a lower price. When setting up on the second computer - we had to print the unique access code 4 different times before it worked. Life was a lot easier when all you had to do was install a print driver!

Great printer but....

My issue is that I use the printer where there isn't wi-fi and the printer will just quit. It seems to think it needs to talk to the internet even though I am using it connected via a USB cable. Very frustrating to have such a great printer have this flaw that I can't seem to get around nor predict when it will occur. It will work for hours and then randomly stop.

I bought a chord since I didn't have wireless service. Well, it still doesn't do what zi wanted. So it works like a copier which I can use too. But, still can't print from my e-mail and have no idea what to do now. I also wasn't offered an extended warranty. I have ordered a $300 tablet to see if that helps, will pick it up Monday.

I was hesitant to buy a laser printer and did not look forward to the set up but this little guy is great. Set up was very easy. (YouTube video for this model was very helpful and took the mystery out of it). It works fine with no glitches with my Apple laptop, iphone and iPad..but I did need to reboot the iPad to get it to recognize it. Highly recommend it for general use.
