    Nothing but trouble so far with this printer. Won't stay connected, keeps throwing error codes, etc. Toner should have been full and only used it a couple of hours and toner was empty (or the machine just said it was). Frustrating.

    I've used quite a few printers in my lifetime, both ink and laser, and this is one of the best. I am a big fan of HP, as they tend to produce quality, long lasting printers that are easy to use. In the box is everything you need to be wirelessly printing in minutes. My total setup time from unboxing to first page print was just under 10 minutes. This was one of the easiest, most seamless setup experiences with any printer. With the initial unboxing you have some shipping tape to remove from the printer itself, along with the security tabs from the toner cartridge. Download the HP Smart application on one of your devices, power on the printer, and simply follow the prompts. It really could not be easier. During setup, the printer quickly found my WiFi signal and connected right away once I entered my password, and that connection has remained reliable. I was prompted for a firmware update initially which downloaded and installed in under two minutes. Once I completed the initial setup on my first computer, I connected the printer to several other devices within minutes. Hands down the easiest printer setup I have ever experienced. This printer is now connected to two Dell Inspirons running Windows 11, an M1 iMac, an M1 MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Each one of these devices connected with ease, and quickly. Printing could not be any easier either. From each of the devices and computers I mentioned, I have had absolutely no problems. The most seamless and reliable experience - EVER! I am not often impressed, but in this case I am. For all of my non-color printing, this has become my primary printer. The cherry on top is the speed. Once I hit print, the first sheet is printed before I can even close the HP Smart app. HP claims time of first print is "as fast as 8.3 seconds", and I can attest that I've witnessed quicker. There is a 150-sheet tray which does a nice job of securely holding the paper. So far I've had no paper feeding issues, misfeeds, or jams. Scanning is also quick, easy, and reliable from all devices. Scanning and copying produce clear images and prints. I should also point out, whether printing, scanning, or copying - this is a rather quiet device, producing lower than expected noise. The small footprint of this printer is ideal for many users. You can easily place this on a smaller desk, table, shelf, or even a counter. It's non-intrusive, lightweight (comparatively), and compact. While I'm not offering a full review of HP's Instant Ink program, I want to offer a shout out in that direction. I really, really like this service. The printer tracks your usage and automatically notifies HP when a replacement is needed. The new toner arrives well before you run out and you can ship the old cartridge back free of charge to be recycled. There are several pricing plans to choose from, based on your typical usage, and you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Bonus - at the time of this review, six months of HP Instant Ink is included - FREE! I certainly recommend HP LaserJet M140we to anyone looking for a small, easy-to-use, reliable laser printer.

    weird setup, I don't know if the USB port actually works for printing. it seems to me that the USB helps the printer to setup the wifi without a mobile phone app. HP smart took forever to install it. ended up with using the mobile app to send wifi info over.

    From purchase this printer there was problem it was set up by Greek after it has a error stop printing..return printer pick another one. I was told i to paid for another service call. 99.00 degree willie

    Unfortunately I had to return this printer as it wouldn’t connect to 5G wi-fi. Called HP and confirmed that can only connect to 2G.

    Best Buy geek squad came out and set up the printer scammer. It worked for two weeks and we have not been able to get them back into the office or by phone to get it working. Its been months now.

    This printer is pure junk!! It doesn't receive the paper at all and then errors out. You have to unplug and restart to TRY and maybe get it to print but it's an endless fail.
