Don't let the average to smaller size of this printer fool you, it's got the features of its big brothers and more! My last printer, an HP inkjet which uses cartridge-less ink tanks lead me to have the thought - wouldn't it be great if someone could do the same thing for laser printers? HP once again comes to the rescue with the "Neverstop" line of laser printers. Fresh out of the box, it will give you roughly 5000 printed pages. Unlike other brands which "throttle" their "included with the product" ink/toner. Once that has been used up, no fear. No drum change or anything of that nature is needed. Just insert the replacement toner via the very novel and clean "giant syringe" (i made that name up).. Because that's what it looks like. There is a port on the top of the printer where you simply flip back the lid, insert said syringe and inject the refill of toner CLEANLY. No more mess. The printer straight out of the box was very simple to setup. The usual tape holding everything in place to be removed, and removal of the inner tank protector. With the download of the HP Smart app, I had the printer setup and ready to go (including all of the above) in under 10 minutes. It really is that simple. You can connect via WiFi-Direct, Wifi, LAN, or USB. I personally setup over LAN - just because that's my preference. The other methods are just as simple to setup via windows 10. What about linux? Fedora 30 was a breeze to install the printer. Actually more intuitive than any other linux printer install that I have encountered. The print quality is great for a B&W Laser. Text is crisp and clean. Images stand out and don't have the usual B&W laser "bleed look", thankfully. This next thing is just a nit-pick really, but it has to be said. The cover that is included for the (bottom loading) paper tray seems to just "sit there". I'm usually very careful with all of my electronics (office or otherwise), but for those that aren't.. I question the longevity of this. In my opinion, a simple "pull out" tray would have been easier to deal with, and better protected. Time will tell if this really is a deal breaker or not (or if I'm just being picky). All in all, if you are in the market for a B&W laser that has a relatively high yield, and a novel, super easy new way to replace toner - GET THIS TODAY! (sorry for yelling!).

Very fast and silent printer ! Great for you business or home office

The printing is average. I gave it 3 stars because after the document is printed, the paper is slightly curled when it comes to rest in the output area on the top of the printer. I have to take the time to try to "uncurl" the paper. I have an older Brother printer and the paper does not curl when it is printed. Will probably return this printer because I am tired of having to uncurl the paper after it is printed.

New printer is giving off a noticeable and unpleasant toner smell whenever it prints a page. Obviously toner is toxic, so I don't want to breathe this every time a page is printed. First HP model I had this product with. HP Support was completely clueless with this problem. Returning it first thing tomorrow. Was also very difficult to set up, very disappointed with HP.
