I think HP went out of their way to make it difficult to use with Apple products. Oh, you want to scan to the computer? Sure! There are numerous ways to do that. NONE of them work on an iMac. But what about the "Scan to computer option" you say? "That feature has been disabled, talk to the person who set up the printer" _I_ set up the printer, I didn't disable anything. You want to download drivers? Nope. It's all automatic. "The printer is already set up to print!" Well that's just great but I want to SCAN. This thing is going back tomorrow. If you like retro this might work, it's user interface seems about 25 years behind the times.

Everything worked except for the scanner function. It only would scan half a page leaving the other half almost black. Tried working with HP service but they could not find a workaround solution nor did they ever call me back. Returned the unit. Best Buy accepted the defective printer without question. Only HP product I ever had to return.
