I probably should have spent a little more money and bought a better printer/scanner combo. Good if you don’t have a lot of work to print/scan when working remotely.

      Hi, Bill.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer’s scan and copy functions stopped working so soon after you’d completed setup. I can certainly understand why that would be a shock, especially considering the retailer’s return period has passed. I want to help you out of this dilemma. I hope the information and resource below reach that end.

I can’t tell from your review what happened or how the scan and copy functions broke. I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:
      - hp.com/plus-help

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

      Hi there.

I’m sorry that your printer has become mired in a process of attempting to update software that renders it inoperative. It’s no surprise that you’re so frustrated, especially considering a phone support agent said it’s a known defect. I want to help you remedy this situation, so I’ll direct you to a resource and some information I hope will accomplish that.

I can’t tell from your review why the printer has performed this way, and I’m not sure what means you used to contact HP. Therefore, I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. At the time of my purchase about the only printer you had in your store was this one. Was frustrated and frankly tired of shopping for one so grabbed this one up and now it's sitting in my computer room. Would have been much happier with a Canon or Epson but you had neither for me to select from. Oh well, shame on me but will not better next time, after all Best Buy is not the only place selling such equipment.

    HP Quality Problems

Do not buy this printer. After exclusively using HP printers for over 13 years, we bought this as a replacement. When setting it up, we kept getting error messages about the ink cartridges. We took it to the store, and after several tries the customer service rep finally was able to finish installation. It worked great for over a month and then pages began to print with horizontal lines and smudges. We followed troubleshooting advice repeatedly, including inserting a new black cartridge, then the procedure to reset it (unplugging, letting it set for over 30 minutes, etc), then we ran the program to clean the print heads, and then used the extended printer diagnostic. I noticed on the diagnostic that the “Print Head Assembly Information” states that the spot sensor was not calibrated. I think this is a factory quality problem. I finally called Best Buy Support since I had purchased an extended warranty. The rep had me go through additional steps to try to resolve the problem and consulted colleagues, but nothing worked. I’m returning it for a different brand. HP is NOT the reliable printer company it used to be. Very Disappinted.

This is absolutely the worst printer i've ever owned. Constant errors and issues when there shouldn't be any and have spent hours trying to print simple documents.

      Hi, Kevin.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer has performed so poorly for you. It’s easy to understand why spending hours attempting to print simple documents would quickly become exasperating. I can’t tell from your review specifically what errors and issues have come up, but I’ll nonetheless direct you to some resources I hope will help you resolve whatever’s at hand.

First, for help solving problems, you can visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including setup, cartridge installation, print quality and connectivity. There you’ll also find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

For more help with difficulties, or to learn more about your printer and all its features, you can access troubleshooting guides, how-to documents, user manuals and software updates here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/37934143

If you need further assistance with anything, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. OfficeJet Pro 9015 ran flawlessly for 1 year. Then it started displaying message "cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP instant ink" I've been enrolled in HP instant ink for over a year. Called Hp to no avail. Corresponded with their virtual agent. No help. I've now been sitting with a printer that is unusible for 3 days. So, there customer support gets a 1 star from me. Printer when it was working gets a 4 star. Hello, Epson, here i come!
