Time Waster
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.9015e is a terrible printer. Will not work reliably without internet connection even if using USB connection as well. The ink subscription program requires a continuous Wi-Fi connection. If you lose connection for any reason your printer will stop, even if connected to computer via USB and regardless of ink levels. Do not recommend.

Bad Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer has a known defect of horizontal lines in the printout. I’ve spent 3 hours on chat trying to fix the problem with no success. I also went through all the ink cartridges provided in the printer trying to fix this problem. Google horizontal lines hp officejet pro 9015e to see other people having this problem.

HP printers are not good.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure if consistient usage is needed for the longevity of HP printers. Have had 4 different models over the last 3 years with very minimal usage not more than 300 pages through any of them and they all became inoperable before the models were even updated with newer models. Will stay away from HP from now on.

They Control You
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was extremely disturbed when HP forced a firmware update that caused my recycled ink cartridges to stop working, FORCING me to buy HP ink. NEVER buy HP, they have the power to remotely tamper with your setup with their bloatware and firmware. I resent that HP can brick my ink cartridges with a software update. This should be illegal. Customer support, non-existent.

Junky junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered this printer, put in the ink cartridges that came with it, and got an error on the magenta cartridge that wouldn't go away. Tried troubleshooting following online instructions, but with no success. The way the cartridges push in and lock feels very cheap and unreliable. Returned immediately. No way I was going to buy another expensive ink cartridge to see if that worked or waste time calling customer service for a product that didn't even work right out of the box. Avoid this printer!

Don’t buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I will never purchase from Best Buy again. They are the only place I know of that has a 15 day return/exchange policy. I was over by 3 days when I started having printer problems. They would not let me exchange. This is a terrible printer. Issues with printing margins of document. I spent over an hour talking to HP tech support and they are completely baffled about how to fix anything.

Worst printer ever!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DON'T Buy this printer. It is horrible. First, it is not environmentally friendly. It wastes so much ink. Secondly, in order to scan, print or do a simple task you must sign into the "HP Smart" app., behold if you are in a rush trying to get work done because you can't proceed with any basic functions until you sign in. I have had this printer for almost seven months. I REGRET the purchase.

Paper Jam Error Unresolved
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give zero stars as the printer stopped working less than 1 month after purchased and maybe 50 pages printer. It has a paper jam error. Followed the online troubleshooting guide, no luck. Called the Customer Service, they had no success. No they want us to send them our brand new printer so they can send us a refurbished one. We want our money back- I would not buy this!!

Don’t buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I printed 8 pieces of paper and it jammed. After that was fixed it wouldn’t print saying tray was open, it wasn’t. I then was on phone with customer service for 1.5 hours. Sent new tray, still didn’t work. They said they’ll replace machine. Let’s hope the new one is better.

If you're a Mac user, this Is a bad option
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're a Mac user with the latest version of Catalina installed, you'll find that this printer regularly drops its WiFi connection and needs to be restarted. (You can find comments on the HP website that validate this complaint even though HP apparently doesn't acknowledge the problem officially.) Beyond that, the installation process is not-quite ready for prime time and the fix process that's outlined on the HP website doesn't work. I bought this model based on a recommendation on The Wirecutter, usually a great resource. While the print quality is fine and the print speed is outstanding, I recommend this printer that Mac users find another option. One other comment: It's stunning how HP, once a paragon of technical excellence, has deteriorated.

Posted .Hi there.
Thanks for the feedback. I’m glad you like the speed and print quality of your printer, but I’m sorry you’ve encountered difficulty with setup and maintaining a wireless connection. I can see how that would become frustrating very quickly.
Regarding Mac OS compatibility, I reached out to some people who oversee development of this product line, and they do acknowledge compatibility issues with Catalina. They do anticipate an eventual resolution to this problem, but I’ll see whether I can offer you something that’s helpful now.
First, I'd recommend using this troubleshooter that’s specific to Mac OS to tend to frequent connection inconsistencies:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04249334
I also recommend looking at this document to address printers that do not maintain Wi-Fi connections:

do not believe Best Buy delivery dates!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are buying this here snd the delivery date of one to two days looks appealling; Its a lie. Ive been promised the printer which is starting location is in my state, would be here next day, then the next day, then finally the next day to anytime in the next 10 days!!! Its outrageous.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2 printers in one year. Good thing I purchased the Geek Squad Replacement (Still out $100 bucks however for the 2 exchanges). The absolute worst printer I have ever owned. The ink is expensive, the print quality is okay at best, and they're prone to break. I'm done with HP.

HP has the worst printers.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been through 3 of these already. HP makes the worst printers. They are always crashing or the ink is not working properly. Plus they try to force the ink program on you. I am switching to epson or canon.

Someone should have warned me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Totally screwed up my computer (which I bought from you in December 2020). I spent 3 1/2 days with Geek Squad trying to fix and ended up with an independent 3rd party to fix all problems.

HP Has Lost Their Minds.

Do not recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my second printer because the first one said it had a paper jam when it did not ( only had it a couple months) There was no way to clear the false paper jam and the printer wouldn’t do anything. They did send me a replacement because it was under warranty but the new one is already acting up. The screen will have weird things on it randomly and I have to turn it off to get it to do anything. I definitely won’t be getting another one if these printers.
