The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip Copilot+ PC is simply one of the best laptops I’ve ever owned. I originally bought it for myself, but the moment my daughter saw it—she claimed it as her own! That says a lot. This machine isn’t just powerful and sleek—it has universal appeal. The 14" 3K OLED touchscreen is stunning, and the Intel Core Ultra 7 with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD makes everything run buttery smooth.
It’s lightweight, fast, and beautifully designed in Eclipse Grey. Whether you're working, creating, or just browsing, it feels premium and intuitive. Honestly, it’s a laptop for all ages—once you see it, you’ll love it.

I recently got my hands on the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip - Copilot+ PC, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. Here are my thoughts after using it for both work and personal tasks:
Display:
The 14" 3K OLED touch screen is stunning. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and the resolution makes everything look crisp and immersive. Whether you’re watching videos, editing photos, or simply browsing, the display quality stands out.
Performance:
Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and 16GB of memory, this laptop handles multitasking like a pro. From running demanding applications to switching between multiple browser tabs, it’s fast and lag-free. The Copilot+ integration is a game-changer, especially for productivity tasks. It’s like having an extra pair of hands for brainstorming and workflow management.
Storage:
The 1TB SSD is more than enough for my needs. It ensures quick boot-ups, fast file transfers, and plenty of space for storing large files without worrying about running out of room.
Design & Build:
The Eclipse Gray finish gives the laptop a sleek and professional look. It’s lightweight and portable, making it perfect for on-the-go use. The flip design adds versatility, letting me switch between laptop and tablet modes effortlessly.
Battery Life:
The battery life is impressive, lasting through a full day of work and light entertainment without needing a charge. It’s a relief not to be tethered to a power outlet.
Extras:
The Copilot+ features are intuitive and well-integrated, enhancing the overall experience. The laptop also stays cool and quiet, even under heavy use.
Verdict:
The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip is a fantastic blend of performance, style, and innovation. Whether you’re a professional needing a reliable work machine or a casual user who appreciates premium features, this laptop is worth the investment. Highly recommend it!

I was a little worried about buying an open box listed as "excellent condition", but it turned out to be a great purchase and indeed was in excellent/perfect condition. I ended up getting a great deal, and I am happy with this laptop as using for my daily driver. It isn't as powerful as my Legion 7i Gen 8, but it gets fantastic battery life and a gorgeous OLED screen instead. Kudos to Best Buy!

Excellent 2-in-1 Laptop with great battery life. Build quality is outstanding and screen is very vibrant. Only con is the price, buy it on sale or as an open box item.

There were cheaper options for this memory and processor configuration, but ultimately the flip functionality, tied to the stylus made a difference. As did the keyboard and very sharp screen. Still wanted an Intel processor rather than Snapdragon for software compatibility as well. Superb deal with BestBuy open box, in excellent condition.

The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip is a major, major, major GO! I cannot speak for anyone else, but the keyboard and trackpad are utter magic; I would say it is a shorter travel distance, chicklet style keyboard that is Macbook Pro-like but better and quieter. The build quality seems to be the best I have ever held in my hands, super-premium feeling and lightweight. I like that there are two Thinderbolt 4, USB-C ports at each of the diamond-cut corners. The Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 256V processor is the fastest I have ever experienced by far; everything works quickly. Battery holds charge well and lasts a long time; not sure exactly how long just yet. The 500 nits of brightness is more than enough; I have poor eyesight compared to most and it's blinding if I max it out. I am bewildered why there is no auto-brightness adjustment, so I have to move it up and down manually. There is NO PEN and NO LEATHERETTE CASE as before, in case you're wondering (makes one think this is not the real successor to the Spectre X360, but it is). The 14" diagonal, 3K (2880 x 1800), OLED, multitouch-enabled is world-class, spectacular. the screen is glossy. The display has dynamic refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The sound is very good using DTX technology (vs Dolby); I suppose one can use Dolby access since it is not greyed out in Microsoft store. The notebook would benefit from not having all the Quad speakers pointing downwards. When I flip it, the laptop becomes a tablet in little time, but not quite as quickly as a Snapdragon might. It operates as smooth as silk from mode to mode. Overall, now that I think of it, this notebook is as smooth as silk! I hear folks taking about its price being high for a 16 gb HP laptop: rubbish. It is elegant and seamless. You won't be dissapointed!

It was perfect for what I was looking for. An excellent pc, I can carry on the go. Super sleek and light makes it great to bring it with you.
I was skeptical about the 14 inch display as I regularly use a 15.6 but the quality of the display more than makes up for the smaller area.
Keyboard feels great to write on, but will take a little getting used to regarding the bigger keys from my previous pavillion.
Battery life could be better when dealing with long zoom calls, but that is demandimg on any device. Other than that, battery life has been pretty good. Will hold for about 6-8 hours of normal word, web and general usage.
The screen and portability are great for carrying into meetings.
I didnt find that much bloatware intrusion as other reviewers mentioned, other than uninstalling mc afee straight from the box.
Other than that my only "complaint" is the lack of other ports. You only get 3 usb c ports. A usb a and hdmi would have been nice, but a simple dongle will take care of that so it's not really that big of a deal.

Fast, smooth. Compared with the nightmare I've had with the Surface 11 ARM (which couldnt connect with anything), the Lenovo Yogo (which couldnt connect with my headset), the Dell 9450 (crazy expensive, slow, heavy, crashed non-stop), this is a very good buy. I only wish the 32g version was readily available.

So far so good! I’m liking the Copilot AI, however, I wish it was able to work offline. I had no idea which pen worked with this laptop because there was no listing of compatible accessories. But I was able to research it and found that the 3J122AA Rechargeable MPP2.0 Tilt Pen works. I had to buy it outside of Best Buy as they don’t carry it in store here nor online. It works perfectly and meets all my needs as an author and illustrator.

I love this laptop! Was actually going to buy a replacement surface pro because mine was 10 years old and wouldn’t take windows 11. When I priced it out the equivalent to this laptop was close to $2000. I couldn’t justify an extra $900 for a detachable keyboard. I never used it without it much and this this can be used as a tablet only anyway!

My daughter and I went to Best Buy for a laptop now that she’ll be starting college. We could not have been happier with this choice. Later processor and good speed.

The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip is a thin and light laptop that is an excellent choice for college students. The build quality of this laptop is sturdy and attractive. The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip has battery life that will easily get you through the day if not more.
