My next trip is planned for this November to China. Mu plan is to take the laptop with me for storing photos during the trip and then downloading them when we return. I've tried this here at home and it works well for this. Images like the one I've attached below.

I was looking for something small that would fit in my backpack for school and this was a perfect size. It's a regular laptop but also flips back to be used as a tablet (because it's TOUCH). Since the laptop is touch is so much useful! It also has beats audio which is nice to have when hearing music!

    Good Little Touch Screen

I initially purchases an open box of this laptop. I returned it after I started having issues with it freezing up. I immediately purchased a brand new one which turned out to be on sale for less than I had paid for the open box so that was good. I haven't had any problems with this one freezing up at all. I like the small laptop for carrying around when it is not suitable to carry my big 17.3". I like the touchscreen because it allows me to zoom in quickly when I need to view at a larger size. The only thing I don't much care for is that it has Windows 8 on it. I really love Windows 7 and am one of those people who feels if it ain't broke don't try to fix it, lol. Altogether the only complaint I have is I wish it had Windows 7, otherwise it's a fabulous little laptop.

    Light and Fast Touchscreen Laptop

I was looking for a 13"-14" touchscreen computer that had enough power to take care of my basic professional needs (quickbooks, office-including outlook and internet) and that was lightweight. Furthermore, I didn't want to spend more than $500.00. This ruled out almost all tablets for the computing power and space I required. It also ruled out most 13"+ laptops as few had touchscreens and were lightweight. This one met three of the four requirements. It's screen is only 11.6". However, as it turns out, it is not the smaller screen that is the issue. It is the fact that the smaller screen results in a slightly smaller than standard keyboard. It's a mild, but ever-present annoyance. Also, the screen iteself is highly reflective. I can barely see the screen when there is even moderate light hitting it. This has become a bigger issue since any non-reflective/non-glare screen protectors inhibit the touch functionality. For $399, this was definitely the least expensive model with dependable quality, featuring this level of technology. I have some major issues with Windows 8.1 and Office 2013; yet, these shortcomings aren't the fault of the hardware. I would recommend this to a friend that needs something fast (more powerful than a tablet) and lightweight. Until there is a product that meets all of my requirements, I will have no regrets and I would buy it again.

Good device if you understand what you're getting

The biggest feature for me was the "Yoga" style touchscreen at a low cost. As long as you're ok with the "budget-class" performance, it's not too bad. The device looks and feels nice. The hinge is solid and doesn't feel like it's going to break anytime soon. The keyboard actually feels pretty solid, but the trackpad is mediocre. I wish the screen had a higher resolution and didn't have so much glare. If you open up the case, you'll find a standard HDD bay and 1 SO-DIMM slot so you can upgrade to a SSD and 8GB ram if you're so inclined. On the performance side, it's just ok. You can feel the Pentium processor bog down when multitasking. The most noticeable effect is the mouse hanging periodically and becoming unresponsive for up to a few seconds. I'm going to swap in a SSD and more RAM and see how that affects performance. I was expecting a budget-class experience, and that's what I got so I wasn't disappointed.

Love the convertible laptop. Awesome portability without sacrificing keyboard size. Great price. Touch screen works real well. Only complaint is the mouse pad is temperamental sometimes. Used to be just an iPad guy when traveling, now I take this and my iPad. Something's work best with a laptop.

I was looking for a decent performing notebook that was small and light for air travel to replace an older HP 11" notebook that had gotten too slow for my liking. After researching what was available in my price range this one seemed like the best choice. Unfortunately the 5400rpm hard drive really makes it lag. I ended up replacing it with an SSD I already had and replaced the 4GB of RAM with 8GB. It runs much better now although I don't have as much storage space. May upgrade to a larger SSD down the road.

Screen size took a little getting use to, from a laptop perspective, but the size makes for greater flexibility and convenience. The graphics are acceptable and the touch screen experience means I do not have to carry my laptop and tablet. Not the fastest laptop I've ever used but it is easy to use once you get used to the Windows 8 platform. My only issue is that early on the wireless connection would randomly drop, a little research and a couple minor settings changes seems to have corrected that. Overall a good laptop for the price.

A decent buy for the price. Here are some key points - a) Windows 8 sucks. I had to install a custom view to simulate Win 7. Seriously thinking of upgrading to Win 10. b) Would've really helped if the keyboard lit up c) The battery is bare boned d) The touch screen is sharp and works pretty good. e) Many of these came with the MS office package, this didn't.

    Very Nice Budget Computer

I bought this for my son, who destroyed his other computer. As a young 17 year old, this has everything he wants: Lightweight, large hard drive, decent audio, windows 8, touchscreen, folds to tent mode. As a father, it has everything he needs: Intel processor, two USB's, HDMI outlet, SD card reader, folds in half to act like a tablet, and an economic price. If it came with 8 GB of RAM, would merit 5 stars - I need to spend another $75 for RAM to ensure this PC can keep up with technology. HOWEVER, this is a nice unit, crisp audio and video, and overall a nice PC for what it is - a beefed up Surfing tool. He is very happy, which makes me happy.

I like the size of this little computer for traveling. The touch screen and Windows 8 work really well for me even though I had never used it before. The bending tablet feature is nice but I don't use it often. I do have a game I sometimes play on this computer and it is sometimes slow for that. However, if you are looking for a laptop to web browse, stream movies, or do some work on, this laptop works great and the price is good!

I like the versatility of this laptop because it has the keyboard attached and it can be used as a tablet. Most of the work I do on laptops requires typing and it is easier to type with the keyboard than the virtual keyboard which would take up half the screen you are typing on. I am a little disappointed with the life of the battery, it does not last as long as I expected it to even when just surfing the web or typing word docs. It is a bit heavier than I thought it was going to be for the size but at least it is not as heavy and bulky as the previous full size laptops I have owned. The touch screen is an added benefit. I like having the 500 GB Hard drive so I could load a number of programs that I use while traveling and are not web based programs. I would have given this a 4 star had the battery life lasted longer and would have given it a 5 star had the battery and the weigh not been a concern of mine. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Very nice and easy to use and set up. I should have stuck with the HP brand in the first place but the Best Buy online description wasn't as clear and I didn't know this was a "convertible." I had originally purchased a different brand and it immediately stopped working (on Christmas day) and created an uproar in my household. I returned it the next day and bought the HP. As I said, I should have bought the HP in the first place! Thank you HP for a happy husband and another great computer product!

I picked this computer for screen size, video quality, and keyboard. I was worried it would not have enough speed but reasoned that 2.3Ghz should be enough for what I wanted to do with it. Turns out I was right. It is slow and hangs a lot when browsing the internet. I will beef up the memory when I get a chance. I believe the slowness is due to video sharing. Battery life is only about 2.5 hrs. Hard to get used to when comparing to the 7 hours I got from the Acer Aspire it replaced. Otherwise, I like it. Adequate video, comfortable keyboard, light, enough USB ports for what I do. Good computer if your not a gamer or web surfer.

Good laptop for someone on the go. It's light and easily transported. I find working on a laptop to be awkward, but the touchscreen is a nice feature. This doesn't have the speed and power to be my family's primary computer, but it's small and lightweight making it great for travel.

I purchased this laptop during a sale and was impressed by the sleek design. The 11.6 inch screen looked a bit small but i got used to it very quickly. The keyboard is full size and the only grudge is that there are no separate page up and page down keys. the overall performance is good. I use it for mails, spreadsheets, documents and light browsing so it being light weight is a good advantage. battery life could be better.
