Not much better for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating between the purchase of the HP Envy x360 (15M-BP012DX), the Lenovo Yoga 720 (81C3000LUS) and this laptop. I passed on the Envy, due to the old style HDD. The Lenovo is 13.3" compared to this 14", has 256gb SSD, and same processor and RAM, but $100 costlier. I'm not worried about storage, as I have an external HD and a desktop for long term storage. The first unit I purchased had a bit of light bleed in the top left edge. I brought it back, checked out the floor model and it had it in the same spot. The one I'm using now does not have it. I'd suggest checking your screen against a black background to be sure. This laptop is fast, screen is beautiful and the touch screen works perfectly. I haven't had it long enough to do much with it, but I'm only using it for browsing and word processing. For the price, I think this is the laptop you want. I feel quite comfortable typing with the keyboard and the touchpad seems precise. Props to Best Buy for the easy exchange. One touch brightness/volume/keyboard light adjustment, loud clear speakers, everything about this is fast. 14" is a perfect size for me. Go see this at your local store and it should be worth your consideration.

Great laptop for college student
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this laptop for almost 2.5 years now and I love it. TOUCH SCREEN! Screen flips around to be used as a tablet too! The only thing I can say that is negative is that the battery does not last long. And if you have it running on high performance, forget it. I am obsessed with the look of the laptop. The gold color is gorgeous and different. Much better than silver, or ugly grey and black. The keyboard of the laptop is silver though. I have the matching wireless gold HP mouse which I also love. Oh, it doesn’t have a CD drive, which really stinks!

Value - Performance and cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No issues with the laptop, other than odd issue with google Chrome not working, uninstall, reinstall still no go. I have other windows 10 devices, no issues, not sure what the variable is. Boots fast, does generate more heat than I am used to (out the vents on left side. Have issues with casting to miracast TV's. (I am an IT tech for years) really haven't had time to troubleshoot further. (last thing I want to do after all day doing the same at work). Unit seems sturdy, hope so!

Major issue with this laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a previous fan noise issue, the 'power button' now does not work. It is undependable. I paid $750 for 2 years ago and now after many attempts to turn the computer on, it finally powers on, but I have to keep it plugged in and turned on in order to use it. Otherwise I risk of not getting it to power on again when I need it. I spent much time with Best Buy and now HP trying to get it resolved and have been told by HP that I would need to pay up to $374 to have it fixed. My solid state lightweight laptop is now a stationary desktop computer. I will have to buy a new laptop, one I can take with me.

Good quality for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer feels a lot more solidly built than some of the other ones I looked at. I love silver color. Having the option for touch screen is also really nice in a laptop. I probably would have given this computer 5 stars but the touchpad is not very easy to use. I usually use a mouse anyways, so it doesn't bother me much, but if I don't have my mouse I usually end up using the touch screen more than the touchpad. I like the face recognition feature as well. Another downside is that it does not have a CD drive, although I don't know how often I would use it. All around a good computer so far.

Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could use a larger hard drive, aside from that it's awesome. 13 second boot up from completely off to ready to rock. Perfect size, awesome package. The speakers could be a little better, but for the size of the laptop, I didn't expect anything that's up to my standards for sound quality.

Overall it’s a great student laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do love this laptop, however this amount of space isn’t great. I plan on putting in a bigger ssd, but it’s also $300 or so dollars with the plan they encourage you to buy to not pay $400 instead. I paid roughly $650 for this laptop on sale.. it’s kind of crappy to feel like I have to make that decision. However, if you’re one to keep up with an external hard drive shouldn’t be an issue. You have to keep an eye on the updates because when it’s due for them it can start to act a little wonky, until they are updated and computer restarted. If you have it laying in 130-70 degree angle it sometimes slides into 180. Which is an annoying. However, moving on the things I do love, despite some initial issues are the keyboard. It types so easily and I feel more efficiently than my 2015 notebook. The screen and size itself is nice for travel (ie, being a student.) The speed of the computer is quick and loads pages and apps in a very timely manner. The battery life is surprising good as well. The laptop will stay alive for several days, can handle watching several episodes of Netflix of 24% battery. There is a back light for the keyboard as well that can be enabled and disabled. It is honestly like having a knock off macbook, but that is touchscreen with currently a faster processor than apple currently offers in the airs.

Fast & Reliable Office Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop for my most recent new hire in the office. I was skeptical, having experienced issues with HP computers in the past but was pleasantly surprised to find out how easy the initial set up was and the ability to easily connect my peripherals. One of the deciding factors was the solid state drive and fast processor making this a solid workstation for our fast-paced office environment.

Good laptop for general and small office use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my dinosaur 2008 Toshiba laptop with this HP Pavilionx360. The Best Buy rep listened to my needs and wants and we discussed the value of a solid state drive. This model is lightweight, yet has a nice sized screen for working and using the programs comprising Microsoft Office. The keyboard is easy to use and adjustable for keystroking style and preference. Battery life exceeds my expectations; I can expect it to last a full 9-10 hours when not using a lot of graphics programs. Good value for the price.

Great Personal Computer.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this laptop, I got it for school and it is awesome. Beautiful display and it is fast. The only negative I'd say is the battery life, after about 3 hours after a full charge it will die, I don't know if that's common for modern laptops, but it feels pretty quick to me. Otherwise a great computer.

Perfect Size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop, like the 14inch screen. SSD is a super fast start up, about 15 seconds and your on. Like the back lit keyboard. Did have to slow the touch-pad down some, (from the factory setting) (in the settings) after a while you get used to it. I didn't need a whole lot of storage so it's the perfect size.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new laptop and didn't want to pay a for a cheap one or a super expensive one. HP remains the best windows machine
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Touchscreen is exactly what I needed, and it’s a perfect size. It’s lightweight but full featured, and although I’m not a big fan of Windows, HP Machines are hard to beat.

Only one downside
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this laptop for several months now. It works great with no issues. The size is nice for taking to work and work travel. Love the touch screen. Getting an active stylus is recommended. Speed wise I e had no issues with basic/moderate use. The only thing I don’t like is the amount of hard drive space. In this day in age 128gb really is very very small, especially if you’re like me and don’t like cloud storage. You have to be careful what you install with the small space. But to get an ssd drive I had to sacrifice memory space for cost. So I like the laptop but I probably would have waited to save up more $$ to get sad with more memory if I had it to do over.

Still getting to know the computer but like it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still getting to know the computer. Don't use it for anything but Email, word and excel. Getting used to the touchy keyboard. I still don't know why but when I'm typing if I let my hands come in contact with the computer it will at times make several lines of typing vanish. Don't know how to stop it because I don't know what I'm touching. Other than that I am enjoying it.

Easy set-up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this computer to replace my HP Envy. The computer was easy to set up. I like the facial recognition feature that eliminates the need to type in a password on the lock page. This is my first 2-in-1 computer, so I am learning to use it differently. So far, the only thing I miss from my Envy is a number key pad.
