I like the fact it came with a plentiful supply of ink. Easy to set up, easy to print from phone, or computer. When scanning something, it is a little slower than my previous printer, honestly sounds a little junky. I hate the fact that I must sit in the room with it if I'm printing off a bunch of pages. The feeding system is terrible. I have tried several different types of paper, and same issue with all of them. This printer does not do front, and back copies at the same time. For the price, it is honestly just an average printer.

Had an older (cheap) printer that chewed through ink cartridges like a hungry bear. Bought this HP as an upgrade. Easy install/set up and looking forward to not having to buy new ink every month or two. Highly recommended.

I purchased the printer. Brought it home.
It took me awhile to figure out how to get it started. The biggest challenge was the supertanker ink. I had never used one of these printers before. And then, realized I also needed to install the cartridges.

I made a mistake and bought this model instead of the 6xxx I should have. I bought it for the 3-year ink warranty.
This only holds about 100 sheets of paper, and most of all, it does not print on both sides. I would return it and buy the correct one, except the price went up and no longer makes sense on saving money on ink.

HP Smart Tank 5101: Ink tank system slashes costs, easy refills. Good print quality for docs & crafts. Wireless printing/scanning via app. Cricut users: reliable for design prints, accurate registration marks. Borderless printing is a plus. Handles standard vinyl/sticker paper well. Thicker media can be tricky. Color accuracy good for most crafts. Overall: cost-effective, reliable for home & Cricut. A smart choice for both general printing and crafting needs.

very easy to set up and connect to blue tooth, also love that each color is independent and don't have to buy expensive cartridges just for a single color, would recommend to all

Works great only annoying part is anyone that doesn't want to connect to the printers wifi will have to have the HP app and connect as a guest. Makes it kinda difficult for air BNBs when the guests are not so tech savvy

Sales Associate recommended this printer. The price is excellent and the performance has been terrific. Most importantly, It is so easy to set up, which was a huge concern. The associate assured me it was simple.

This printer is easy to use once you read the directions and walk through them properly for set up, and I am told that the ink lasts longer than on the other type of printers. My previous printer stopped working after only 4 or so years. I hope this one proves more durable.

Its pretty good. I have issues with loading paper and it freezing up and then not printing then its a whole get up to get it to print again. But when it does print its good.

Pretty awesome. Setup was a breeze. Yeah It's a inkjet so you don't have high expectations but this is a really great printer. Print and scan quality are better than I could have imagined. Add to that the economic value of the tank ink system, it's a win, win win.

I could not get the printer to connect to the computer. I went to the store and took the printer and computer and had a Geek work on it and he told me it was working but was connected with a cord and not wirelessly. He said it might not work when I got home because it would be a wireles connection. Needless to say, it did not work! I went back to the store and asked them to schedule for the Geek Squad to come to my home and work on it, but they said I would have to call Best Buy.com and schedule that my self. I ended up hiring another technician to come to my home and do the needed repair. Not a good experience!

Great printer for the money. Was looking for an all in one that is compact enough to fit inside of an office cabinet. This printer packs a lot for its small size. I’ve used the mobile printing option and various laptops already and the quality is exceptional. The refillable ink is a great idea which saves you money long term. I’m really Happy with this printer b

Printer works excellent. However, one criticism I do have is that I find it to be highly inconvenient that their online Technical support appears to only be able to communicate with customers through ONLY a minimum bandwidth 2.4GHZ wireless network. Most people I know personally have Internet network plans much higher than that bandwidth so I'm not sure who at HP made that silly dumb decision. If the printer would change that policy, I would feel more inclined to rate the Printer 5 stars instead of 4 stars. Otherwise - print quality is excellent and I have no complaints about how the printer functions or prints documents for me.
