So far I love this 2in1. For the most part does everything I need it to do. touch screen doesn't interact perfectly with a program I like to do for design/editing for shirts/decals/stickers but works great with the mouse and keyboard. only had this about 5 days so far PROS: Has an awesome OLED display this thing is super slick/thin/light. Love the 2 tone look! Looks and feels like a top of the line machine. Nice slick looking Super speed USB Type A port. 2 charging ports Thunderbolt 4 with USB4 Type-C. SD card Reader. The hinges look and feel solid an no flop/shaky screen. Comes with a pen...does feel pretty cheap compared to a Microsoft surface pen!! also comes with a 65W charger w/braided cord and carrying sleeve. CONS: The fan can be pretty loud/annoying while the system is trying to cool and it does seem to run a little warm. 720p cam. For the price wish it was 16GB and/or i7. the battery is...ok for me...? good for personal use, wont last more than maybe 5 or 6hrs before it needs plugged in. Wouldn't recommend for business use or long travel use without charging capability. Overall there seems to be a lot of cons but I really do love the look, feel, and functionally for what I need this Laptop to do. Only way ill take it back is if the heat or fan scare me a lil to much to keep it or if another more powerful machine goes on sale.

    The Absolute BEST Ultrabook Out

This is a laptop you have to see in person to do it justice. HP Has knocked it out of the park. From the 2 tone metal designed and 4k screen this will blow you away & is so light weight and just an amazing device to use. For ports has 2 latest GEN thunderbolt 4 ports, USB A 3.1, headphone jack & micro SD card reader. This is Intel EVO Laptop too (google it) Comes with leather case and pen. Also have privacy switch to kill webcam. Keyboard and track pad is great as well. I tried many ultrabooks which I returned & moved to this HP Spectre for HP's know quality. Dell I bought with 4k screen had trackpad issues, Yogo 940 w/ 4k screen had screen issues so after that I went to what I know. FYI Even though this is Core i5, it will outperform the 10th Gen Core i7 but for me the only 2 downsides on this laptop is no 11th gen i7 offered which i'm ok with & no dedicated memory but pretty much ever ultrabook in this class will not have dedicated memory. My real reason for buying this was playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Google Stadia in 4k & it works great. Again amazing laptop & I would highly recommend to ANYONE if they want to buy the best out. Go to best buy & pick 1 up you will not be disappointed.

This was the most comfortable 2-in-1 I laid my hands on. Its weight is reasonable, the hinge is smooth, the screen is easy to draw and touch on, the keyboard is very responsive/well spaced, and the touchpad is effectively perfect. If you need a daily driver for school or work without commercial graphics or multitasking needs, this is the computer to do it on. As far as the other things you're paying for, there is no reason to have a laptop screen this small with resolution this high, but it does look super crisp and allows you to have a bunch of things visible on screen at once. That being said, the battery life is pretty bad. I basically can't expect to be somewhere for more than a couple hours without a place to charge it. I don't mind this, but I understand some might. Only 8 GBs of RAM is pretty much unacceptable for this price point, but I have only had a few multitasking moments where the RAM was clearly holding back my machine. The speakers and built in microphone are quite low quality. Some minor inconveniences: The spacebar doesn't always register if you don't press near the middle of the key. The HP Pen that my laptop came with works fine, but it's impossible to tell when it's low on battery, if it's charging, or if it's even on. You can't use the fingerprint reader when the laptop is in tablet mode, but it also doesn't automatically switch to the touchscreen keyboard mode so you have to press several buttons to get to the right login mode/method. The fan spins quite loudly every few minutes and the metal can get pretty hot. I like the heat because my hands get cold all the time.

Worst laptop ever! One star is even too much. This was supposed to be an upgrade from the HP Pavilion, and multiple times every day I get the ‘blue screen of death’ and it shuts down. It constantly freezes and I would return it, but it only really started doing it every day after the return period. As i’m writing this in my phone it has shut and and restarted TWICE. Really disappointed as it’s 1500$ pretty much wasted.

Fantastic machine. I tried Samsung Flex2 Alpha (great screen, super bright capability, but awful keyboard, weirdly shaped screen and not smooth running), Dell 7000 13.3 inch (two models out of box had problems with phantom mouse movements and window openings) and Lenovo Yoga 6 13.3 inch (cheap and cheap looking, screen dim and blurry, but speed great). Hands down, this one is best. Only one negative to this machine. Battery life is weaker than others in its size range. But considering this is a 4K screen and all of the others are just 1080HD, this is why. Now that that's out of the way, this machine is sweet. First, it comes with everything in the box. Laptop, lightweight fast charger, HP smart pen AND a beautiful leather carry case that protects it from drops. The screen is gorgeous. Not oversaturated, but gets very bright if you need it to. Is true 4k. Reading documents and website text is so easy with this screen. Beautiful color rendering and smoothness. Videos of course look great. The keyboard feels full size and has great depth of push to the keys. Very easy and comfortable to type on. Unlike others, the shift keys too are full size and nothing is placed in the wrong spot where you accidentally hit a key you didn't intend. It is relatively quiet. Unless you really, really push it. I generally run on balanced battery mode and have no problems. Even when the fan is on, it is nowhere near as loud as the Samsung or Dell are. Physically, it looks a step above the others. Beautiful fingerprint resistent black/brown matte accented with bronze metal all around it. The hinges even are very upscale looking. In terms of speed and performance, I've had no problems. Yes, the ram is only 8GB. But Windows seems optimized for it. Of the other ones I tried, only the Lenovo felt faster, probably due to it having the AMD Ryzen 5 instead of the Intel Evo I5. But the difference is slight and doesn't get in the way of my needs. I have never been an HP fan. But this machine has made me a fan. Highly recommended. You get what you pay for.

There is a lot to be desired here. Especially with how much this computer cost. The camera is crap. In order to look half decent you have to be under full lighting. If you're not You're fuzzy and grainy. The speakers are terrible. They put them under the laptop so you could have almost a full size keyboard. Bad idea. At 100% volume you couldn't hear it with any other type of sound going on. So everything must be completely silent for you to hear at 100% volume. I had to buy a separate speaker to remedy this issue. The battery life is terrible, it is all sucked up by the 4K OLED, crazy amazing screen. Which is the whole reason why this computer is so expensive. I fell in love with the size and the color. At 13.3 inches or 13 (i can't remember) it's a cute tiny thing. It came with a stylus and carrying case. The stylus is supposed to magnetically attach to the computer's side but it attaches to the bottom of the computer which doesn't work if i use it on a desk...but i use it mainly on my lap so I'm not too broken up about it. The color is just stunning. I love the black and rose gold, definitely a good choice of color. So in conclusion, if i had a second chance i probably would've gone another route with buying a computer. The only selling point for this one is the 4K OLED, amazing, screen. So if you need a totally awesome screen this is the laptop for you. Just don't expect anything else.

As a preface, this review comes after owning an earlier i7 model (late 2019 or early 2020, I believe) and a more recent 15.6" version of the Spectre series, the new Macbook Pro M1, and a Samsung Galaxy Book Flex. The earlier Spectre 13.3" had a weird yellowish display and horrendous battery life. It was very zippy, but as a photo editor, I need the best color accuracy possible. The 15.6" was great but too bulky and not NEARLY bright enough, even on full brightness. I'm not sure of the exact figure but I'm guessing around 250-300 nits. The Macbook Pro had a marginally better display in terms of color accuracy (though not as bright), but the keyboard was mushy and annoying to use. It had big ugly bezels, no touchscreen, and only 2 USB ports, meaning if you have to charge the computer, you only have ONE USB port available. This model has taken the best of the Spectre series and made it exponentially better. The i5 processor (11th gen EVO) does indeed make a noticeable improvement in speed and battery life. The display is very color accurate, and INCREDIBLY bright. I usually have the brightness turned down to about 50% and it's plenty, but I love being able to crank it up without worrying about the glare from my windows. The webcam/microphone kill switches definitely bring an added sense of privacy. The keyboard is one of my favorite things about this device. It's an absolute joy to use. I tried a typing test on each of the devices I owned, and this was the clear winner. The trackpad is on the smaller side but still perfectly useable. The fingerprint sensor is very accurate, I'd say it works about 95% of the time. The charger that comes with it has a braided USB-C cable, and it's very compact. It also comes with a very "premium" feeling leather sleeve and pen. To sum things up, I really couldn't ask for much more. I'm extremely pleased. I've been "laptop browsing" for 2-3 months and I'm so happy to finally feel satisfied with my purchase.

It's a nice unit with a beautiful display. It's well built and fairly reliable, but I do have some complaints: 1. The speakers failed and the unit had to be sent back to HP for repair (their service is excellent and speedy) 2. I kept getting a message saying the Optane memory was degrading but it was impossible to find a solution anywhere. This issue was resolved by HP when I sent it to them for the speakers 3. It's expensive for the components you get: i5, no discreet graphics. I bought an open box for about $700 and that's about what it's worth. 4. The battery life is mediocre, probably because of the 4k display. If you need to use it on battery power a lot, I'd look elsewhere

Sleek and attractive. Very fast and smooth operation. Pros: beautiful display; back lit keyboard along with fingerprint reader. Touchscreen is very responsive. The laptop is extremely user friendly and portable. Cons: for the price of this unit it should have had more than 8gb RAM of which is not upgradeable as this unit is extremely pricey. It should aslo have had a few more ports such as hdmi, ethernet or another usb. All in all this is a decent laptop if you have the money to spend.

This is the perfect laptop for media consumption on the go. It has the perfect balance between weight and performance at only 2.8lbs. The integrated Intel graphics is a massive improvement from the previous 10th Gen Intel series. It is now possible to play e-sports games (like Dota 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, Fortnite, etc...) at medium settings at 1080P with 60fps You have to see the screen in person to see how amazing it is. The black is very deep and the colors are vivid yet not overly saturated. The Gorilla Glass makes the screen even better as you don't get any blur(text) from the anti-glare coating. The only thing that is a con is the non-upgradable RAM. 8GB is just barely adequate especially if you have alot of tabs in Google Chrome.

HP - Spectre x360 2-in-1 13" 4K OLED Touch-Screen Laptop is the best that can cost better than many people want to spend on. It provides greatest experience and last longer than cheaper alternatives. It also has the processing power to play high-end games or handle demanding tasks such as professional video editing or modeling. I really wanted this laptop but unfortunately I returned it and kep hp envy 13 inches. The specter was constantly warm and that got me worried. The speaker weren’t as good as envy ‘s .they pretty much the same . I would say envy is faster thank specter and that’s because envy is i7. None of the laptops hold the battery as advertised ( around 5 hours both , specter may last a bit longer). So if you don’t care about the design then go with a envy it’s much cheaper .

I have only had this laptop for a week but absolutely love it! It was easy to set up and transferring files from my old laptop was a breeze. The 2 in 1 is amazingly convenient, as is the touchscreen. It's compact and lightweight but plenty big enough that I don't feel cheated. Best of all it still has a USB and micro SD in such a slim, sleek design.
