This is a great headset that my son uses on both PlayStation and Xbox. He had other headsets, but finds this one to be the most compatible, comfortable, the sound is very good for both him and the people listening to him while he’s playing with his friends. I would definitely recommend this.

This headset is very versatile, connects to my laptop (win10) for on-line work meetings and my Xbox One. They are very comfortable, and are over the ear type. I wear glasses and there is no pain in wearing them for hours. In fact, they could be a little tighter and it would still work. The only complaint is not with the headset but the driver on Windows 10. The "Listen to this device" option is selected by default, which means you will hear your own voice (on a delay, so it sounds like it's an echo). To find that option: right mouse on the speaker in the tray, select Sounds, then select the Recording Tab, double click on the HyperX Microphone, select the Listen tab, unselect the "Listen to this device". Now enjoy a conversation, without your voice echoing back. - Your welcome (this is the best tech advice you will receive today).

I have owned these for about 1.5 years and I gotta say I love them. I have never sweat, never had pain, and never regretted this purchase once. To make matters better, I got in on sale for $120, was a definite steal! I have a really big head and tried many headsets, I'm looking at you Arctis 7, and they just didn't fit me, but this one fits so comfortably. I've had many days of many hours of gameplay, and I play with comfort. The microphone is very clear. The controller for mic volume and sound volume function as it should. The controller has a mute button and a Dolby button, which when pressed turns on surround sound. The surround sound is good for the price, but not the best. I'd say this a really good headset and you will not regret buying this.

Pros: Have had the headset for about a month and use it daily, headset is extremely comfortable and sounds is very good. Mic is good as well.
Cons: headband on the headset is not retractable so no room to position the headset in the right position on your head. Mic is not retractable either so no way to move up or down. U can move it away from u but it’s kinda annoying just sticking out in the opposite direction. Last is the Dolby Surround is horrible. Good for music and movies but not good for gaming what so ever. And considering it’s a gaming headset.

I really love this headset. I have had it for a little over a month now. The audio is great all around and perfect for games where it is important to hear which direction noise is coming from. The adjustable controls and mic muting is very handy, although it is awkward sometimes to find a place to clip the controller to. The headband is also loose, so the headset falls all the way down towards to the bottom of your ears. This isn't a big problem for me as it still sits comfortably, but I could see it being a problem for people with smaller heads. Overall, this is a great headset. The audio quality is superb, they are comfortable for long gaming sessions, and they do not make your ears or head get hot. I would definitely recommend this headset to anyone, but would be skeptical for people with smaller heads.

Read a lot of reviews and picked these based on that and price. Really great sounding headphones, comfortable and light. Great low end without being overdone like many of them are now. Solid headphones, I'd recommend them to friends.

I use this headset for both PC and Xbox One X. It works perfectly on Xbox, I use it in tandem with the Turtle Beach audio controller plugged into a controller, as the headset has no inline mic controls. It does however have a USB DAC that I plug into the PC that gives inline controls, and enables 7.1 Surround. The cups are very comfortable over long sessions, and the range is very impressive. Punchy lows, heavy on the bass, highs are crisp. Mids can get a touch muddy but honestly nothing at all to be concerned about. The mic is sensitive, but does a great job at filtering background noise. I would absolutely recommend this product.

These are awesomely comfortable and sound great. I have fairly large ears and most over the ear and all on ear headphones kill me after a very short time. I can wear these for hours with no pain, did I mention that they sound great too. I'm not an audiophile or anything but I love these so much I bought a pair for home and another for work. The mic works well to. I use it for conference calls at work all the time. I'm told that I come through clear and have never had any complaints about voice quality.

I got these and returned them within an hour. They sounded pretty good but not for the price, it could have been user error but the Dolby 7.1 sounded terrible to me. Overall the sound quality was mediocre for such a well known brand. The lows were fantastic and the mids were pretty good too but the highs were way to ringy for me. Everything seem to have a hollow tone and very tinny sound. The plug and play ability of the headset was nice I had no issue with drivers or anything. The design over all is aesthetically nice but the weight was one of the first things that made me think they would not be the right headset for me. This is a very heavy headset by comparison to even my Astro A40s, which is saying something. I put the headset on and noticed real quick that the floating headband design, though lessened the feel of the weight, left the headset feeling very loose. The design does not allow for much adjustment and although you can position them just right on your head any rapid movement will knock them around forcing you to readjust. The ear pads themselves were very comfortable but a little too shallow for me and the convex speaker grill under the ear pad cloth rubbed against my ears, again the looseness ultimately is to blame for that.
Keep in mind that these are gripes specific to me and my personal preference, I think what I was most disappointed about was the lack of demo for these at any Best Buy. I returned these for the Cloud II, which did have an in store demo display.

I purchased these after a 2 month search and 4 headsets later.( Astro, Turtle B, Razor)which had range of 150-190$.
2 of which didn't properly work out the box. Broader sound range than most others. More comfortable and sound quality is awesome. Dolby Surround really brings out the details in the game. Awesome for FPS games as you can hear footsteps FAR in the distance. A solid built headset with Metal bands that allow movement without breaking and soft memory foam headrest unlike those cheap plastic made headsets with rubber headrest. Its plug and play 100% and no need to download software on a PC that doesn't work. AWESOME PRODUCT!!

This headset was more than I thought it would be. I got it at a great sale price. There are several sound options to choose from for flexibility of what works best for you! The only con I have is that it isn’t adjustable. I have a little bit of a smaller head, and I can’t adjust the headset to fit as tight as I would like. It’s supposed to be a one size fits all, but it might not fit yours making it very uncomfortable. Overall this is a great product for the price.

After much research online, it was down to these or the Steel Series 7 Arctic wireless. I wanted hardwired, and these paid off in spades. Solid quality build from the frame, through the drivers and down to the foam cups, this headset feels solid, sounds amazing, and plays well. It has a long cloth covered braided cord, inline volume and mute controls, but hours of gameplay prove these out to be a pretty comfortable set of headphones. Mic sounds full, not tinny or with echo, all around a great investment and a build that should last a long time.

I was recommended this headset from a colleague of mine, back in June during E3 2017. After my beloved Astro's A-40 TR's gave out on me. I figured it was time to take him up on Hyper X Clould Revolver - S.
1. Wow for the $ you really do get your bang for your buck, Super Comfortable I game 8-10 hours a day with my players as an Esports manager. Going into meetings via skype/discord using this headset for my phones work related, & even travel I recommend everyone to us this headset sounds great the volume control with 4 built in presets are amazing

Fantastic Headphones, sturdy, not too heavy and excellent Mic quality. Best Gaming Headphones I've invested in, Sound Quality is really good and I can utilize these for PC or Console gaming if I choose to. Design is sleek and edgy, and I can easily use these as daily headphones or long term gaming headphones. Ive had them for 2-3months already and their condition is still as great as it was when I purchased them. I would recommend buying this product again as it will last a long time and will not disappoint any type of gamer you are.

This is the most expensive headset I have owned, and I got it at a good value at $120. Material is quality, it's extremely comfortable, sounds great, and mic is clear. I have even used it with music and have not been disappointed. I gave it 4 stars because I don't think the Dolby 7.1 adapter does much for sound quality. It may bring out more mid-range sounds, but I would have been happy with the cheaper, non-7.1 version.

Everything works fine except for the surround sound plug in. When using surround sound capability microphone is disabled, headphones work, but no mic.
Using for daily WEBEX conf. calls need to plug direct into my iMAC, without surround adapter, works fine. Same with PS4 COD. Surround sound capability kills the mic. Otherwise fine on PSR when plugged directly into handset. I can talk and hear fine. Trying to find on-line solution or trouble shooting, could not find my problem. I am resigned to know I paid for something that sounded good initially but does not work as expected. User error possible but not likely. My kids could not figure it out either so I don't feel that bad. Dad -- you did everything right on the setup.
Otherwise great headphones, hence the "ok" rating.
Would not recommend if surround sound AND talking is important on PS4 games.
