Overall a pretty good pair a headphones. The mic can be known to have a little echo on console but you can adjust the mic sensitivity settings on most consoles. The sound is overall really good and the comfort is definitely there. The only bad side is the material does not breath well and you will get hot rather quickly with these the other pairs around this price point.

Forever I used the Gold level ps headsets. When I used those I actually preferred my 7.1 Dolby system over the headset. Now that I have this headset, I'd take this over my sound system 10 times out of ten. These are freaking AMAZING for the price. They're super comfortable and the 3d sound is fantastic. Great for everything from the division 2, to final fantasy games. I hear noises I didn't even know was in the game with these on. Can't recommend these enough.

Coming from plantronics, turtle beaches, and
Astros, this headset was my first hyper x trial and it was so heavy and tight on my head that i barely wanted to use it, the fatigue after a long sesh would be like holding a weight w my neck lol otherwise besides how heavy it feels, it sounds amazing and barely leaks due to it cupping you so much. Imaging is mid higher tier

I purchased this headset as a birthday gift for my daughter. Easy plug and play configuration. Superb Dolby 7.1 surround sound. Large earcups and headband makes it one of the most comfortable headsets out there. With a high quality noise cancellation microphone, it is safe to say that the HyperX Cloud Revolver S is a Best Buy for the money . A total game changer. I highly recommend it.

I have loved HyperX Cloud 2s for years. I have had 2 pairs. I have broken both (my fault not due to quality). After breaking my second pair, decided to try out the Cloud Revolver S. Wow !!! They fit amazing. I have bigger ears and these dont bother me at all. They feel alot like Cloud 2s but more durable. Get these !!!

Really awesome headphones. If you use the 7.1 surround sound attachment, lower the volume on the attachment just a little. There is a slight buzzing sound. Otherwise, they are fantastic headphones.

The headset is very comfortable and good for gaming. Only issue I have is that the sound volume mixer is too high up on the cable. Other than that, great headset.

I have had this headset for a while now and am pleased with the purchase so far. It is very comfortable and appears to be well made. I would have given 5 stars if not for the price of admission and the fact that the surround sound feature is more of a gimmick than of a benefits in gaming. Overall, a very nice headset.

7.1 Is Useless but Audio is Great

The 7.1 surround sound technology is pretty useless now that most audio is heavily edited already. It might have been useful when audio was basically 2D and mono. Most audio produced from a tv show, movie, or game in this day has already been heavily edited to sound like surround sound through stereo speakers, headphones, or whatever you use. If you use the 7.1 Dolby feature on these headphones, you are basically re-editing already edited audio, which messes up the sound completely. The 7.1 feature adds an echo chamber effect to the audio you're listening to, which is an attempt to mimic the "echo" or surround sound that people experience in a movie theater. If you try to ay any game that has sound positioning already in effect (shooting games, games with monsters, games where someone contacts you on a phone or other communication device) you will notice that the audio is already tailored to sound unique. Adding 7.1 muffles those audio special effects from your game. The reason I'm giving it a 4/5 is because the audio quality is still overall pretty good.

Only virtual surround sound headset I've ever liked. I've always thought that every virtual surround sound headset that I've ever tried was a gimmick. But when I turned on the virtual surround sound of the Cloud Revolver S it actually made quite a noticeable difference in spatial awareness and immersion. Headset is also very comfortable and sound quality is quite good for a gaming headset.

These would be the best pair of gaming headsets if only they were Wireless!!! The bass sounded amazing the sound was awesome I just didn’t like that long cord plugged into my PS4 because of the amp and because u had to plug it in via usb to your PS4. Great pair of cans tho if you don’t mind the cord! Then pick these bad boys up!

Nice, clear audio from these cans; the cups fully envelope my ears comfortably. My only complaint is in the headband not being very adjustable. This makes the headset feel loose instead of snug when resting on my head to where they feel as if they're going to fall off (which has not happened).

Great for gaming and crystal clear surround sound. Sounds indicates where enemy is coming from. Not for movies as it has very little bass.

Great gaming headphones. I finally purchased a set of headphones that my son had not complained about a month or two after I purchased them. He has been using them with our laptop since he PS4 took a turn for the worse. He has not encountered any problems with them - he lives them :-).

Great for PC gaming. I hear every footstep, the bass on it is super nice. Although when I use the Dolby 7.1 setting it doesn’t really make my music or video game experience that great, so I simply don’t use it. Headphone are great without it!

I use them for my Xbox and they do a great job. The sound is great and everyone tell me the mic come thru clear. Being older than the normal gamer, they work fine with my hear aids. They are will built and comfortable to wear. They block out a lot of the noise around me.

So I have this issue where earbuds won't stay put but headphones push on my glasses and will start to hurt after a while. These are the best. They are so comfortable that I sometimes forget I'm wearing them. The fact that they are noise cancelling and surround sound is a bonus
