Many appreciate the high-quality build and the ease of use of its software, along with the ability to adjust DPI settings. While some users found the ergonomics less ideal than other models, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern. Overall, the mouse is praised for its functionality and features.

Great for gamers and game designers

I'm a gamer and game designer and needed a mouse with multiple buttons on the side (but not too many) to assign to various things. This mouse does it well, and the ability to change the DPI is really nice - especially since I prefer a very high DPI. The downside for me is I'll sometimes click one of the side buttons unintentionally since they don't require a hard click. The RGB lighting isn't distracting for me at all. As for the "HYPERX NGENUITY" software that you can use with this mouse, it's simple and does just what I need it to. No complaints with it whatsoever. If you're heavily into RBG lighting - it's very customizable in ways I didn't even think needed to exist, but they're there and awesome. Overall great mouse, would recommend for gamers and even game designers.

This is a great mouse of it's kind. Light, sturdy, and the 5 programmable side buttons are amazing. The software is very easy to set up and use imo. Be wary - this will not accommodate those with large hands.

Typical Hyper X quality, prefect amount of buttons

Hyper X quality (which means its great) each button is easy to press but wont be pressing any of them on accident if you lift the mouse or move it quickly. Has the best balance of weight and buttons, usually mice with more than two side buttons tend to have weights or just generally weigh more than 70 grams. There are enough buttons on the mouse so that you can map several actions for many games. Lighting is supreme, very even and bright, can change the colors for the scroll wheel and logo. Great ergonomic feel, more suited for a pseudo-claw grip or pure claw grip (especially if you have long fingers like me), easy to pick up which is important if you play on low sensitivity. Software wise, its pretty basic, can set custom lighting and create multiple profiles for different games. The one thing that is great is the game detection software, as soon as you boot into the game that is linked with the profile, the mouse will automatically switch to that profile. Many times other programs for mice have had this problem, especially Logitech and razer, where it won't always switch over. This is not the case here. The one thing I wish the software had was a "hyper-shift or g-mode" similar to what razer and logitech have where when you press an assigned button it basically allows you to map additional actions to the buttons, so that each button essentially has two functions, on in standard mode the other in hyper-shift mode. This seems more the limitation of the software rather than the mouse so hopefully this will be added later on by Hyper X. I really like the feel of the buttons, they feel very crisp and responsive, I previously used the SteelSeries rival 500 and the buttons almost felt "mushy" in the sense I really had to press each button for them to register, however here that is not the case. Scroll feel very good, you can easily distinguish each step in the scroll, however for hardcore document scrolling not very great. Another thing is this has one of the most responsive side scroll buttons also, not a lot of pressure needed, but responsive enough that you wont be pressing it accidently.

Alright I will be blunt I love this thing, You do have to follow the instructions in order to change the RBG settings on the mouse its self but I could also change the DPI on the mouse its self. The mouse controls on the side work great for sound control and that is about it. Wire is solid and covered in a fabric-y materisl like other HyperX products Highly recommend

The mouse wheel felt cheap and flimsy, and I couldn't reliably get used to it during gameplay. I liked the placement of the side buttons and had no problem with the mouse sensors accuracy or settings. Unfortunately, I ended up returning the item as I flick the mouse wheel to the side for some of my competitive games and needed more reliable input. Felt fine with a palm grip.

This is my second purchase of this mouse which i am buying for my laptop. I will make it brief and just say that its sturdy but not super heavy and that it has a bunch of extra buttons while not adding like 20 of them as some one like me cant keep track of them all let alone what they do.

for many years I've only used Logitech. I believe since 2001. But, since 2018 their quality has been horrible. Both mouse and keyboards have had some kind of problem in a few months of usage. They get some 4 feet nothing shroud to promote them and they thing they are the all and be all. When I changed to HyperX I was afraid. Input's are very important to gamers. At least for someone that has been gaming since 1999 like me. I got to say I am impressed and won't use anything else anymore. They are smooth and precise which is something Logitech lacks. You have to try them out and compare them and you will notice it too. Also their software is amazing. Got no complains.

My brother is not missing all of his shots in games anymore and the buttons are really handy for games with a bunch of key binds. The build quality seems fairly nice as well. It is sort of ergo though so if you don't like that you probably wont like this mouse.

This sits quite comfortable in the hand. The extra buttons allow for much more flexibility while playing games. It also allows you to program each button for your own customized fit and needs. This also has really cool lighting that is nice to see when gaming. It responds quickly and the scroll wheel is notched to allow for comfort and steady scrolling.

Not only does it fit perfectly in your hand But it also works better than any I have ever used before it, I was going to go with a wireless mouse until I found out about the lag they could be between the computer and mouse so instead I went with this one and I am super happy I did

Very good deal. The mouse has everything I need a lot of controls and DPI options. The only thing that I don't is that to get full conf options you must need to install the software. (required with other mice though).

The mouse build quality is very nice. It contours to medium to large sized hands nicely. The RGB can easily be controlled by the Hyper X Ngenuity App in the Microsoft Store. The mouse, I would say, is medium weight. The side grips are very nice. The cable is sturdy.
