The simplicity of set up is amazing and it works without any issues with the home kit apple app. Wish iHome made a light switch to go along with the wall plugs. Might invest in more of these but for now the one will do.

Incredibly easy to setup and sync with the app and echo dot.

Works great with Alexa and Google home. It's not to bug to block the other outlet which is a probkem with most others.

I had purchased another one of these devices from Bed, Bath and Beyond a few years back. This model, which appears to be an updated version, seems to work better - it connects easier to the WiFi network.

Used it to turn on Christmas lights and it works well

I now own three of these plugs and so far have been mostly impressed. They were fairly easy to set up and start using and integrated easily with Apple Home Kit. My only issue is they do not connect every time, often it takes a bit of time for them to load on my phone, and occasionally my phone or watch cannot connect. This may just be an internet quality issue, which is possible. It's not frustrating enough for me to stop using them, but would like to see fixed with updates soon.

Had a little trouble setting it up, but that's just me, not very electronic savvy. Love it! Just tell Alexa "turn on the tree" - wala! like magic!

I purchased a pair of these to control some holiday lights after an epic fail of 4 Wemo outlets. They worked as advertised, easy to pair with Home Kit and I love that I could say "Merry Christmas" and have my lights turn on. I also have one running an action with Smartthings bridging my Ecobee (version 1) as a temp sensor and the smart plug turning a heater on and off as needed to keep my toddler's room ideal during the winter.

This is a great little piece for those wanting to get into having a Smart/Connected Home and who are also wanting to stay within the Apple ecosystem. This plug works with HomeKit (as well as it’s own app & Samsung Smart Things) and is very handy for things like humidifiers, white noise machines, coffee makers, and other items that are nice to be turned on/off from afar or set to a schedule. My wife loves the 2 I put in our bedroom (our house is about 80% smart with the majority of items being HomeKit compatible). Wait until this goes on-sale, which it will, and pick it up then. Word to the wise - the lights are rather bright so you may want to take that into consideration or come up with a fix.

This switch is used to control the lights in my closet and once my sensor is triggered it powers them up fast, no delay. iHome Control app has a device usage log which tells you ever time this switch was turn on and when it turn back off. Convenient for monitoring your personal space for unauthorized access.

I love these I have my bedroom and my living room light connected to it with my Alexa app. That way when I walk into my home at 10 o’clock at night When just getting out of work I’m not looking for the light switch turn the lights on my voice activated it. My only issue would be iHome app sometimes has issues and I have to reset them through the Alexa app. However it’s not often I’ve had to do it maybe three times in the past year

For full functionality it seems I also need a hub but can also use Apple IV or iPad that remains in place

Returned Belkin WeMo as it was unable to connect to my WiFi. Bought this and give it a try and turn out, it exceeds my expectation. Would like more features, but at this price point, no complaint.

I bought this plug to plug in my engine block heater. So far it has worked great for that purpose. I can turn it on and off without a problem. The app for it is just okay. Creating rules for when to have it automatically come on/turn off is quite cumbersome. Not very user friendly. Overall I like it though. Would look at other brands if you are wanting to control multiple devices throughout home as their scheduling is way better.
