This is an amazing TV, especially for the price. Great picture quality, price, and it was truly a breeze to set up. My only complaint would be the speakers aren't as loud as I thought they would be, but that could also just be my personal preference. I recommend buying a $100 sound bar and spend the extra $60 for the wall mount.

I'm really happy with this television. I love the built in Roku, the picture quality is topnotch, and the sound is pretty good too (tho I did add a soundbar recently) adding a blu ray, gaming console or anything else you can hookup is super easy and easy to navigate to once hooked up, it's right there on your home screen just a simple click away. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this easy to use television.

This is a fantastic TV for the price. It has a great picture. I was looking at 1080p TVs that were about the same price, and they are all 60 hz. I noticed blurring in motion scenes. I bought this TV because there was no blurring like I saw it the other TVs, even though it is also 60 hz, because of the increased number of pixels in 4K. To top it off, it is 4k! I am very pleased with this purchase!

Love my new 4K tv and looking to buy another soon. Bought this for my room, and will most likely buy the 55 for the living room. I really was going back and forth on which to buy the 50 or 55 but since it was my first 4K tv with insignia. I thought I'd play it safe and go with the 50. Should've gone with the 55 know that I look back, but still pleased with the quality and most certainly the price.

i was very scepticle of this tv based upon the price. the picture was nice, not the same picture as my 70" sharp 4k tv but for the price its an outstanding buy. the fact that it comes with the roku built in is even better. the only thing that i dont care for is the remote doesnt have 0-9 number buttons to go to certain channels. but for the price and pic quality i can live with that!!

Wow! The picture on this 4K TV is incredible! It is an excellent smart tv! Set up was quick and easy. The included Roku with streaming channels works seamlessly. The Roku remote is a little different to get used to. There are only a few buttons, and no numbers. We use a cable/satellite service and use that remote anyways. We are very happy with our purchase.

I was specifically looking for a Roku TV, and I saw this one on sale so I gave it a try. The colors are clear and sharp, it doesn't have a lot of wasted space in the frame meaning most of the surface footprint is picture, and it's much lighter weight than the smaller Samsung it replaced. It also is very simple to move between antenna feed, computer, and streaming services, all using the same remote. The only slight downside to this TV is that it does not have a live sports mode in the settings. Consequently, there is some pixelation while watching fast-moving live sports. Still, I like this a lot and would recommend it, especially to someone looking for a Roku (or any streaming-capable) TV.

    Using as a computer monitor

I'm currently using this tv as a computer monitor. It works outstandingly well. It's equivalent to having (4) 1080p monitors without those annoying bezels in the way. At 50" there is no need to do any sort of scaling and all icons and text can render at their native resolutions. I do not notice any sort of crazy lag or delay when playing games (Battlefront, Rocket League, LoL, Battleborn) although I am not a competitive player where every frame matters. I have it hooked up to (2) XFX Radeon R9 280X in crossfire via Displayport to HDMI 2.0 adapter. It does run at 60hz chroma 4:4:4.

I bought this tv for $399 about a month ago. At first I wasn't too impressed with the picture until a friend told me to give it a day or two for it to clear up. It has definitely improved and I am very satisfied with the current picture quality. I love the Roku feature and that I can download an app and use my phone as the remote (that comes in handy when you can use the phone keyboard to type info into search boxes). I like being able to download "channels" like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime tv, etc. so I don't have to always cast from my phone. I like that I can also download and add more channels...I'm not just stuck with the preloaded apps like with my blu ray player. The sound that comes from the tv is a little flat but that doesn't bother me since I have it hooked up to surround sound. The photo I've added doesn't do it justice...But overall it's a great tv for the price :)

We needed a reasonably priced TV for a summer home. We did not want to hook up to cable, so we were looking for a ROKU tv. We had read some reviews on the Best Buy web site, and researched more on the Internet. For being a house brand of tv, we are very impressed. After purchasing a router from BB the tv was very easy to set up with our Internet, we are pleased with the picture quality and the ease of use. We were able to use our Netflix account info and log right into Netflix. We have all the entertainment we want for the summer. Who needs cable??

Went through two toshiba 47 inch 4K tv's. Please keep in mind that this tv is for an Xbox S.... after the panel went bad on the bad on the second Toahiba (second time exact same problem), I asked the Best Buy employee at the return desk for her opinion and she said that numerous low end 4K tvs come back, however she stated that even though it's Best Buy's house brand, she sees very few insignia tvs come back. I figured if anyone knew it would be her, went to tv department, 50" insignia was on sale, just slightly more than the toshiba and the insignia was larger, so I got it. Very easy to set up, very easy to mount on wall. Picture is very good (again it is only used for Xbox and yes my kids are spoiled) and I have not had a single problem with the unit. Nicely done Insignia and Best Buy.

The picture is amazing and what surprised me is the sound, that it was incredibly good. The controls are very easy to use as well. I like the builtin Roku, it's works great. I'm glad I bought it and would definitely buy it again.

I purchased this television about a couple of months ago and really like it. The color is very visual and dynamic. I upgraded from a LED to a Smart TV, alot apps I have to get use too but I'm learning different things everyday about what this television can do. Only thing I have an issue with is powering on. It might be an easier way to do this but I haven't found it out yet but once you power the TV on, you have to use the remote to put it on hmdi, I'm use to once you turn the television on its already on the correct settings. I do believe it is a way of programming this setting. But I really do enjoy my new investment.

We just upgraded to a 55" from this TV which is now in the bedroom. The four stars instead of five is because at 2.5 years the backlight went out. Fortunately we purchased the 5 year warranty. There is a feature on this ROKU that we liked a lot, but not on the 55". You can use Bluetooth headphones and TV audio at the same time. Not so on new Insignia FireTV. The picture and sound are good, setup easy, and for us the setup features were more than adequate. Other than this recent failure it is a great TV and would not hesitate to recommend.

This is a little more work initially to set up because of the Roku account that needs to be created, but once that's done it works like every other TV. Picture quality is good, but it needs a speaker bar to help out the sound
