The picture is great for this size TV. Displays changing pictures clearly and cleanly. Adds the appearance of depth very nicely. "Auto aspect picture" is a very good feature enabling easy switching from HD to non-HD. Sound is average. Some programs are slightly garbled unless volume is increased. TV seems slow to respond to remote control input commands. Channel changes are slow and other functions (picture aspect, audio) are slow to activate when changes are made.

Bought two of these to replace two CAT TVs. Picture is good and features OK. Weigh less that six pounds each. Sound quality is not so much. Bearable but - - -.
Like the size for kitchen and porch and the fact that if the outdoor one gets ripped off no big monitary loss. Didn't have that problem with the CAT as it would take two men and a boy to steal either one. LOL

I picked this up because the TV part of my Samsung SyncMaster 910MP multi-funciton monitor stopped working. While I do miss having my PC on the screen with the TV as picture-in-picture, sitting this one next to is almost just as good. The sound is clear, though not as good as the Samsung I believe solely due to the location of the speakers. The only complaint I have (which isn't really that big of an issues) is that I forgot Insignia and Dynex were the same thing and the remote controls my TV and my wife's second montor/tv. I turn my TV on, I turn hers off... it's actually kinda fun sometimes. However, the buttons are right on top for easy access.

Bough this TV to replace my 19" CRT Samsung in the kitchen whose picture tube finally gave out. I first purchased a 22" 1080p Visio from Walmart for $159 but was disappointed with the picture (especially the panorama mode, it stretch the picture so much that it became distorted). I returned the Visio then saw this 19" Insignia on sale at Best Buy for $99. The Insignia picture quality is better than the Visio, even though the Insignia is only 720p. The sound isn't as powerful as my old Samsung, but I think for a 19" television it's OK. It has all the basic connections, picture and sound modes (no panorama!). It's been a month or so now, and the TV stays on for about 12 hours per day and there hasn't been any issues. If you're looking for a 19" TV, don't bother with a more expensive brand...the Insignia is just fine. Note: Best Buy just came out with a 22" version and If the dimensions of the TV wasn't an issue for me, I would have opted for the 22".

Picture and sound are good. TV does not stand upright on the stand. Returned the first one I bought thinking it was a flaw. The store said they have had them coming back for the same reason. I got a new one and it's the same. I sent an email to Insignia but they never responded. Because of the angle that I watch and the way the TV leans back I have had to adjust the Brightness very high.

I got this in 2013 and still love it! I mounted this in my sun room and it's performed amazingly! The sound is great and the picture is crisp. The matte type finish of the screen (vs. traditional glossy) is perfect for reflecting the sun glare, so this is a great TV outside or anywhere!

Bought this for a small bedroom a few years ago and have not had a problem. It has a few less bells and whistles than the big name brands, but for the price it's worth it.

We bought this in order to replace a 10 year old television my daughter inherited after we finally changed over to flat panel. Mind you the color and picture were good for a 10 year old 27 inch Sylvania .. but the Insignia brand made the switch to HD for her room affordable. Even recommended other size and versions of Insignia for friends and family.

My dad, who is a new truck driver, needed something small and compact, but wanted a nice picture. When we found this gem, we were happy and hoped he liked it! He has used it many nights out on the road and he is very happy with the picture! He said it gives him a little bit of normalcy and a piece of home out there.

We bought this TV for my daughter's bedroom. It's the perfect size and was easy to set up. Some reviewers had mentioned problems with the TV tilting forward. This is completely adjustable with a screwdriver. She uses it for basic TV watching, Pandora, and Netflix. I might buy one for my bedroom as well.

This is a great tv for the money. I replaced an old analog tv, and haven't looked back. It was easy to set up and operate. It's easy to turn the close captioning on, which becomes more important to me as I grow older. Light weight, works well as a second tv for the bedroom.Initially, I was concerned about a green dot that showed up everytime I turned the set on, regardless ot the channel, but Best Buy was happy to exchange that set for this one, which doesn't have the same problem.Three weeks in, no buyer's remorse.

This television was great. I purchased it to take to college with me and it is perfect for my dorm room. It is small, but at the same time big enough for the space I need. It serves its purpose well and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller TV at an affordable price. I have purchased Insignia TVs in the past before, and they never gave me any problems. They were very reliable.

The TV was very easy to set up. It has several choices of the type of cables to use, such as HDMI, cable, etc.
I also like the many choices you have for the screen size.
