Great little tv for moving from room to room or tailgate.

Bought this TV as a monitor for the computer my boyfriend built for me. At first it worked perfect, but only days into owning this TV a few pixels stuck, bright green on my screen. I took it back to best buy and they happily exchanged it (good customer service.) Brought the new one home, more stuck pixels, this time they're smaller and dark blue, so not as annoying, harder to see, still defects in the screen. The rest of the TV works great, only reason this is getting 2 stars, but not worth the continuous returns if you're as annoyed about stuck pixels as I am. Not a lot of work is going into building this product, I think.

    Insignia is junk

I am very unhappy with this TV. 1 year and 10 months since buying this TV it intermittingly responds to the remote. When it doesn't you can't adjust the volume, switch channels or anything else. Then it suddenly responds again to the remote. Then recently it would not even turn on. With no controls on the housing this TV is then unusable. A 1 year warranty is 10 months expired, so this will be my first and last purchase of their house brand

Purchased a 32" Insignia 1080P a while ago and have been very happy with it, so purchased this expecting a similar experience. Even after adjusting the pic, the blacks aren't very good, There's a lot of light bleed, causing black screens to look dark purple. There's an annoying time lag between a remote command and the command actually taking place. Channel changes are slow. The sound is very thin, but for a set this size I don't know if there's much better. We have a cheap 720P 32" (different mfg) purchased on Black Friday for under a hundred that doesn't have these issues.

I purchased this TV for our newborn babies room so my wife can have something to watch. This TV worked great but seems very cheap. It is extremely light and thin. Just going though the menu to edit you settings just feels extremely cheap. Like as if I had the lowest end TV I have ever used. We decided to return the TV and we ended up getting a 24" Vizio Smart TV and that just felt much better.

I use this TV as a second monitor along with the TV function. Works great. No problems since I bought it back in May 2014. I would buy another one of these TVs.

    All three were bad...

My wife and I bought this brand ("32in") before and decided to go with this brand again. We purchased and returned a 24in" three different times. Each one had a bad pixel in the screen when you first plugged it up. If you buy this size, keep the receipt and take it out of the box carefully so you can take it back just in case.

I got this as a small office TV. Thankfully there are no "Smart Apps" on this TV. Picture is good.

    There are better TV's

If you get this on sale and aren't planning to view it at any angles other than directly in front of it this is an alright TV. Other than that, the interface is clunky and a pain to change settings without the remote. I wouldn't recommend this if you will be hanging it on the wall and then sitting down near the floor looking up at it, unless you angle the TV down towards the floor. The screen gets all green and unreadable when looking up at it. I tested this in the store vs. some other brands and they did not have this issue. Also, the sound on the model is very quiet. I'd recommend going to the store and messing with each TV, and also keeping an eye out for deals. There's are much better TV's out there that are cheaper than this when they go on sale.

    very disappointed

Perhaps it is because I purchased an open box (certified excellent by best buy) but the picture is only good with a viewing angle <20 degrees. I have it positioned on a dresser at the end of a bed and the picture is very dark at that angle even with brightness turned way up. The sound is like it is broadcast through a tin can. I hate returning, but I have to because My 13 inch tube tv looked and sounded better. Also the cord supplied is very short if you have it 5 ft high and want to plug it into a normal wall outlet. I'm thinking I just got a bad one because my daughter's 24" Insignia from a few years back looks fine.

I am a little disappointed and I am thinking of returning it. The picture is so-so even after trying to adjust it. The sound is awful, I have the volume up almost 100%
