I purchased this Insignia 375 sq foot rated air purifier and put it in our living room. I really think this has cut down on the amount of dust in our indoor air. The auto mode works pretty well. Most of the time it indicates clean air and stays on auto low speed one. When we cook sausages in the skillet the air quality rating on the display changes from green, clean air, to yellow, then to red. The fan ramps up to full speed setting 3 and it quickly starts cleaning the smell from the air and as it purifies the air it changes from speed 3, then speed 2 and, back to low speed 1. Display indicates green (clean air) again. I moved this down to the basement a few days ago and am hoping this will also help remove some of the musty smell from the air since this has a carbon filter to remove odors.

Had been looking for an air filter that would also remove dust from our bedroom, that seems to receive the most dust of any room in our home. Our bedroom is about 275 sq. ft. so this product is more than sufficient, and the control panel is very easy to use. It is very quiet unless you use the higher fan speeds, and it even has a nighttime setting. We have had the air filter for a month and there is definitely a noticeable difference in the bedroom. The Insignia filter was on sale for Black Friday at a great price.

This machine runs very quiet when it’s on a stand by mode. But if it’s set up as auto AND if you’re like me living in a small apartment and decided to cook a steak on a stove and produce a lot of smoke, this wonderful little machine will kick itself up and started to blow the fan through the filter at a higher level and will slow down after the smokes disapated. One of the best feature of this machine is it has a PM2.5 calculation display. Don’t know how accurate it is but I love seeing it shows at .005 in our place.

I like this product because it has a night feature for quietness during the night time hours...as you can really hear it cleaning the air on daytime level 3. I feel it does a great job getting rid of everyday pollutants and even has a countdown which works by counting down...red..yellow and green screen shows just how much of a good thing or bad thing you have in the air. My family liked this so much i purchased 2.

I am very pleased with this Air Purifier. It is Very quiet on the first setting which is where I generally have it. When we have visitors, I turn it up to the 2nd setting and it is noticeable (sounds like when the heat is on in the house). It seems to do a very good job and the display is easy to read!

I purchased this unit and was amazed at not only the size of the HEPA filter, but also the included particulates analyzer, quiet operation, and modern look. I wound up buying the larger unit for another room in my house because of how well this one worked.

I did enough research into air purifiers and came across this one as a deal of the day on the Best Buy website. I must say, it checks all (and more) of the boxes. Coming up on 6 months with this purifier, I am delightfully impressed! My wife and I suffer from mild seasonal allergies and have noticed a difference after placing this in our 150sqft bedroom. This thing works hard taking care of smoke, dust and pollen in the air. For anyone considering dropping hundreds on a Dyson or other name brand air purifier, I would highly recommend this Insignia HEPA air purifier as a serious consideration.

Insignia was not a brand we were too familiar with but for the SALE price I would recommend, here's why... As far as air purifiers go this one is on the large side, think 2, 1 leter bottles stacked on top of each other in hight. This is more of a tower. It does do the trick in our living room though. We did a smoke test while cooking and it hit the "yellow" numbers somewhere around 40. We let it get to 68 and then turned it on high, the numbers began to fall within 5 -8 minutes. Room air was back down to 19, in 18 minutes, in 1 hour had it down to 9. I'd have to day it's a really good purifier, we're impressed. The air filter is inexpensive too. Only thing im not a fan of, is the size, and the vibration that comes off it, even at level 2. It doesn't wabble but its just a little annoying. Other than that, we have no complaints. We got a second one for the back of the house.

Very quiet, filters are pricey, but I guess that’s how all the air purifiers are, does it’s job.

My wife is a clean freak and our bedroom tends to get dusty from air passed through. It's a small space so this unit was just sufficient to circulate the room, and the various settings allow for it to be run through the night. We have been leaving it on since purchase and can definite feel and smell a fresh difference. For the price it is a good value.

I love the color white-its neat and classy. The instructions are so easy to follow. For the size-it is just enough for my house. Its not that noisy-but you can hear it and knows that its on. For me, this is a great purchased as I got it on sale from Best nuy.

Good thing to purchase for your family have good breathing and less allergies

This purifier moves a lot of air quickly and works great. I'm in a home with 2 dogs and 4 cats and you wouldn't know. I'm on my 3rd month on the same filter too!

best purifier for the price!! i love mine and have had it for a while. but getting replacements can be difficult!

Very happy with this air purifier. It's very quiet until it needs to work hard. If I cook something smokey in the kitchen the air purifier in the living room kicks into high gear which I like because I know it's working. The filter is a good size and easy to get to when it comes time to change. I would recommend it.

I like it so far. Our toaster caught on fire last night. This morning I set it up in the kitchen and I think it's getting the smoke smell out great. Sometimes I wish on appliances like this there was a way to turn off or dim the LED lights at night, they are kinda bright. I just threw a sock on there though. But yeah, first air purifier I've had and it's pretty neato. Also seems to be working getting kitty litter dust when it was in my room.
