Good 4 port usb hub that works as expected..I wish the cord was longer. Reasonable price.. Ther are very few choices for a 4 port usb..Nice to have extra ports up front..

I bought this as a fix due to the increasing amount of USB ports I was needing access to for my laptop. Since I use it to play games, I needed additional ports for a dedicated mouse and keyboard, which could share a unifying device, along with my external hard drive, so this was the perfect fix. My only complaint is wishing that the cable was slightly longer since I have my laptop elevated on a stand.

I purchased this for use with a Dell Inspiron 17 7000 laptop computer because that computer has only 2 USB ports and we are using a wired external keyboard, a wired mouse, an external DVD drive, and an external Hard Drive. We have the external hard drive plugged into one USB port on the computer, this hub plugged into the other USB port on the computer, and the keyboard, mouse, and DVD drive plugged into this hub. Everything is working fine.

This USB hub works great. 4 ports now available from 1 USB port on my desktop PC. Fast download/upload speeds. Reasonably priced.

I often have work for which the client requires I use their specially-set up laptop. These laptops have tons of added security but usually a whole two USB ports and one is often not working. This little 4-port hub came to the rescue late last year so I didn't have to contact the client and ask for a different laptop (delaying work and therefore pay). I'm sure it will do that again. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Hooray for Insignia!

This little gem is perfect. It expands the single 3.0 port on my computer to 4. Of course, it’s so easy to use, all I had to do was plug it in… and walla! My freshman college student asked for one to take to school, so I bought another one as well. For me, the short chord is perfect. It doesn’t get tangled, but works just as if you were plugging directly into the laptop.

Great hub, easy to hook up, nice price and works very well with our new laptop. I'm looking at buying another one.

SUPER EASY. Plug and Play! Done. Small and compact size as well. Built in dongle means no extra clutter cables. Worked out perfect for me.

My new Dell Desktop has only one USB 3.0 hub, so I wanted extra for flash drives etc. This works well without me having to turn the desktop sideways or upside down every time I need to plug something in. Also, it I need to use more than one flash drive it's helpful. However, because the desktop has "feet" and sits a few inches higher, the port does not sit flush on the desk...it's slightly in the air. It works, but it's annoying...not enough to send back. Would be 5 star if the cord were a few inches longer.

Smaller and more reasonably priced hub is great for travel, and less clutter on your desk. Compact and convenient sums it up!

have to say this has been a really good hub, great with the surface laptops docks. add more ports and allows more functionality. has pretty good speed too especially for the price. Highly recommend for work from home when you have only a laptop

Small unit to provide needed extra USB ports. Easy to take anywhere

With the number of USB ports that come with laptops shrinking had to get an USB hub and this was the best one I found for cost and it supported USB 3.0 as I had quite a few accessories that used USB 3.0. The price is good and worked right out of the box. The only complaint if I can make is the the connector cable to be little more longer.

I purchased this USB hub because as a photographer, I have a good number of portable USB drives to hold my images. I needed a decent USB hub so I could have multiple external hard drives connected to my computer. This hub works well for that, provided I only plug two into it at a time. When I try to use a third USB drive with this hub, it won't stay connected and drops out after awhile. Not sure if this is just a problem with the drives drawing too much power from the hub or something else. If you are going to plug in multiple high power drawing devices, I would suggest skipping this hub and getting one that is powered.
