We were looking for a new bedroom tv. And we found a great one in this 40 inch Roku tv. love having the extra channels from Roku and the picture is great!

Happy I purchased this. Good price. Even my techie smart son was impressed with this tv.

Was not familiar with the Insignia name. but am very pleased with the picture quality and overall performance

this TV its more that I was expecting, Having the most common applications as Netflix Rocus youtube and more, varely need a cable service anymore

Having the whole TV be a ROKU device is a great idea. You get channels without having to subscribe to a cable company.

For it's time (2016) it was good! Annoying it needs a password for adding new apps though.

Price was excellent. Picture is good but sound is horrible. Definitely will need a sound bar or Receiver for audio.

It's a good buy for sure. Only thing I don't like about it is that it says you can watch free movies etc through roku but it's not free. A little misleading.

The TV was easy to set up and has many features. I don't really use ROKU too often, but it did not change the price much and seems good to have.

My parents have purchased 3 Insignia TVs in the past, so I was somewhat familiar with the brand when I decided to purchase this particular model. The best features in my opinion are: - Lightweight for wall mounting - Very thin frame (gives the screen a larger appearance) - Extremely easy to set up - User friendly - Roku compliments the TV exceptionally well My only two dislikes about the tv: - The remote is a Roku-Style remote, which means it does not have number buttons, or input buttons (everything can be accessed through the "home page" but you would literally need to surf channels, one by one.) - The sound level varies between apps; for example, volume level 22 is louder on Netflix than volume level 22 on Hulu. Difference in sound level is not drastic, albeit. Overall, GREAT TV for the PRICE, and GOOD QUALITY for a lesser brand name TV.
