So far in the first month of ownership I am pleased with my purchase. Got a good 'today only' deal price for this 40" TV. Bought TV mainly to use the Roku features with my WD home server and my Slingboxes. Picture is better than I expected, which is good due to minimum controls over appearance. Would like more control over audio; in my opinion the sound is too bright and missing mids and bass to add depth, practically mandating adding external speakers. TV sits in master bedroom. Love viewing pictures from phone on the tv and running slide shows or watching movies via my home server. Too easy to accidentally push buttons when just picking up remote, especially in the dark. A good basic choice for an infrequently used TV.

I love watching antenna tv, and the roku feature is amazing. I love the extra free channels that I can add, and watch many movies.This tv is simple to operate even for me, and the picture and sound are perfect. The price was great, and has lots of extras that I don't even use, but others do. I love the product, and have always had good and long life with them. I would highly recommend it to others. It was a good investment. It was well worth the money.

I bought the tv on a deal of the day and it was worth it. It has a very sleek, light design, and the picture is very good. The wifi was an easy connect and I like that the remote has the tv and Roku buttons together. This was my first Roku product, it's an easy setup and has every streaming channel I was looking for, plus more. But I do have to say, I prefer my new Apple TV over Roku systems. But this tv works great anywhere in the house, wherever it's needed, due to being able to just plug it in anywhere and you're good to start watching!

The best thing about this TV is that it has inbuilt ROKU that saved you immediate 40 bucks and the hassle of extra device, extra remote. All bundled in this sweet TV. I have known INSIGNIA TVs to have decent quality display if not the best. It is kind of comparable. No deep blacks like SONY but they are pretty good ones. Roku works seamlessly to load and run apps. Similar to the Roku 2 i would say. Its not fast like the latest Roku Stick of Roku 4 (k) but is good enough. You get all the Roku channels. Sound was ok and good. I can definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for a Good quality and features at a great price.

My first flat screen purchase. Had good reviews and good price. At times it will glitch and the power light will flash like it's trying to turn on, but it won't. I unplug and plug back in and it will turn on.

Previous excellent experience with Insignia. This TV apparently comes pre-loaded with ROKU requiring a CC. If Roku was an add on, ok , but not loaded as now exists on tv. Otherwise, Insignia TV appears to be excellent in Pix quality.

Was looking for a new tv for the bedroom, (something in the 40" range). Had planned on a Vizio which was on sale at the time. We already have 2 Vizio's and are satisfied with them, but the sales man talked me into at least trying this model, which was even less than the sale price of the Vizio. Went ahead and bought it, since they have a good return policy if you don't like it. Got it home, easy to set up, program and added some apps. That was 3 months ago, and no problems so far. It gets a fantastic picture and the Roku works great. I've added a soundbar to it. Now it's hard to get out of the bedroom.
