The TV had a great picture but everything else sucked. The tv kept freezing and shutting off while watching it, as well as rebooting itself. I had to take this television back

I bought two of these Roku TV's. The 32 in and the 40 in. They have a great picture and good sound. Awesome built in features come with this Smart TV. I was a Samsung loyalist but as a bedroom TV or a second TV they are SUPER and very worth the money. I would recommend this product to anyone. I think the only negative is the remote, which works fine but isn't a traditional remote style. The third HDMI is a great feature especially if you have a DVD, Game console and an HD box.

This tv works very well, has a good user interface and the initial setup is very, very easy to do. The only catch is the controller that comes with it is a Roku controller so if your watching tv through the tv antenna you will not be able to select channels but instead will need to go up or down 1 channel at a time. If you are using a cable box this is not a problem but it does suck if you don't have one. All in all it's very good deal for the price and the picture quality is pretty good.

I have had my TV for a year now. It is a great tv for the price with a few little bugs. The sound quality is not the best it is a little tiny. Also because I turn the tv of from the plug it has a slow start up.

Needed a back patio TV and did not want to invest in a "smart" TV and still view Netflix among other online programs. Plus, we have an HTPC on the network that records our OTA TV shows with WMC and the ROKU has a Plex channel to use once the TV shows are converted over to mp4 automatically with MCBE. Works out great! Yes, it works with antennae TV, just read the instructions. We have not had cable or satellite TV in over 6 years.

TV quality is good; however, be careful when screwing the cable into the back of the TV. When my husband attempted to connect the land cable into the TV, the permanent connection mounted on the back of the TV began to turn making it unable to function. We took the TV back to Best Buy and had no problem returning it and we had no problem with the same replacement TV.

Purchased this for my daughter in college and it broke in six months. Took it back and purchased a different brand. Two years later daughter still happy with new tv.

Purchased as a bedroom upgrade from and older 32" Samsung. Picture quality surprisingly solid and built in speakers are acceptable for bedroom use. If in a larger room, I recommend stereo connection and/or a Soundbar. Built-in Roku is a big bonus and works extremely well. Easier and better than Roku add-on and provides full TV and Roku control with single, compact remote... with app options as well. Don't expect "perfect" dark blacks with this set, but the 1080p picture is crisp and colors are vivid. Good Product... Great Value!

I like this TV. First of all, it fits perfectly in my entertainment center, but that wouldn't matter to anyone else. The TV itself has great picture quality - and that's from across a very large living room (approx. 25 feet from me to the screen). The menu that pops up on powering up gives a person every option for what/how they want to watch...cable box, roku, hulu, netflix, etc. One thing I would like that doesn't seem to be there, is a default to the cable box. Oh well. It's a nice set!

Easy to set up from the start ......both physically (legs) and electronically (digital subscriptions ).........we bought the Geek Squad protection (because who wants to mess with everything and be without a tv??) good thing too.......1st Tv had an issue and blanked screened within the month.......took it to the store and they swapped it out for a new one.......wham bam and out the door I went..........2nd one has been great for the past 6 months.........we have liked it so well my son purchased this same product

IT IS SO MUCH EASIER TO NOT HAVE TO BE HOOKED UP TO A STREAMING BOX. WITH THE NEW STREAMING BOXES INCREASING IN PRICE AND THE PRICES OF SMART TV'S DECREASING I BOUGHT THIS JUST TO TRY IT OUT. MY DAUGHTER TOOK IT TO HER ROOM..LOL. NO PROBLEMS AS USUAL BECAUSE IT IS AN INSIGNIA. MOST PEOPLE MAY FROWN UPON TH ENAME AND OPT FOR ANOTHER PRICER BRAND NAME TV BUT I HAVE FOUND IT REALLY DOESN;T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. I DON;T NEED ANOTHER TV , BUT WAS NOT ABOUT TO SPEND $199 ON A NEW APPLE TV BOX.

I was looking for an inexpensive TV for a low frequency watching situation. After looking for used TV's (e.g., Craig's list) I reviewed this model. The Roku smart TV apps are useful, and the setup and picture are more than adequate. By luck--possibly--I had two BestBuy sales guys competing with each other (over who knows more about TV's) and got good in-store advice. Although it's only been 1 month--of low frequency use, I'm pretty pleased--especially for the price point of this TV.

This is a great TV for the price. Very nice picture and was easy to set up with plenty on connections for everything you have. The remote is really easy to use, but I expected a little more functionality from it. The speakers are lacking, but are in line with all the other TV speakers out there. As with any TV, if you want good sound you'll need a sound bar or something else. This is a second TV for our house for the kids in the basement. We knew exactly what we were buying and it suits our needs perfectly.

I purchased this TV for my elderly mom and it was the first time she owned a HDTV and is 100% pleased with how crystal clear the picture quality is. I set up the Netflix without any effort, it was a hard concept for her to realize that her TV now has 1000's of movies at her fingertips but she is getting the hang of it.

TV has a great picture. Love the built-in Roku, which saves from having to spend more for the Roku and also frees up a HDMI Port and less cable mess. Has three HDMI ports, but no other types like the RCA to connect up older DVD or VCR type devices, this is why I only give it 4 stars. Also nice that only one remote needed for TV and Roku.

So I purchased this for a present for my stepdads man cave, and when he saw it he loved it, specially since it has the apps that he can access and such. But definitely recommend if you're looking for a tv on a tight budget. Got mine for around 250 on sale. I would check it out in store. I'm giving it only 4 stars because for some odd reason my remote was left out of the box so I had to drive 40 minutes back to the closets BestBuy to exchange. So check your box!!!! Other than that everything was great!

At first I was hesitant buying this smart tv. I was looking for a 40" TV for my bed room at a reasonable price. Then I was considering more this Insigna TV when It was offered at a discounted price. The reviews were good and price was affordable. Now that I own this TV for more than 3 months, I can say that is a great buy for the bucks. The image quality is good and the sound is ok. Don't expect anything mind blowing with this set. It does the job well and is worth the money.

Good brand but I have been having problems with this Tv. could be just a bad one off the line but the tv screen cuts off and on and loses sound from time to time

Not sure if this review even matters any more because I purchased one of the last ones of these models before they were completely discontinued by Best Buy. It was the best price 40" smart TV on the market at the time. The new version is now only 39". TV is used in a spare bedroom and seem to have great picture and sound. Not amazing theater surround but I wasn't expecting that to begin with. I recommend it but you can no longer buy this one....

Works good works great economic I agree I would say so it's a smart TV do you have good internet signal it works fine set up is easy comes complete with batteries for the remote control and it's Roku TV so couldn't beat it for that price I got a deal Best Buy is the best place to buy televisions
