40" Insignia TV with Roku certified by Geek squad?

Received 32" Insignia TV with Roku certified by Geek squad. After returning another item purchased without any question, was not allowed to exchange for purchase price. After package had already been thrown out, was told I had to ship back. Not at all happy

If I could give this TV a rating of ZERO I would. Bought in March 2016 and the TV screen just went black, so I have a black screen and no sound. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!

    Better than what I expected

I bought this tv for my bedroom. It is larger than I initially planned on purchasing but at $300, it was worth the money to upgrade. I am pleased with the picture and cool functions the tv offers without needing an xbox such as Netflix, Hulu, and Sling. Really, it's perfect for my purpose. The remote is a bit odd - the fact that the volume button is on the side is a bit annoying as I end up accidentally hitting it every time I pick up the remote.

    Love This Smart TV!

When looking for a new TV, I knew I wanted an Insignia, but not a smart tv. However, my spouse insisted on a Smart TV. I thought why not since it was a great bargain and now I believe worth every penny. Once it was set up in our bedroom, it was love at first sight considering all the features it has. The picture size and quality is wonderful. We especially enjoy the options of watching recorded tv from our dvr, antenna, tv and streaming movies and tv shows. It is watched more often than our bigger tv in the living room. No regrets!!!

    Great TV for the price

I have been using this TV for one week and have been very impressed with the quality and features that this TV offers for the price. One word of caution: the picture out of the box requires adjustments for optimal viewing. I used the calibration settings posted in the Community Discussions area on the bestbuy.com website as a guide and now my picture looks great. Even with this inconvenience, I rate this TV 5 stars. Wifi connectivity is flawless with my super fast internet connection. Netflix works great. I haven't used Roku much. You will receive many introductory offers to try the various channels. I bought this TV on sale then got a $20 price adjustment when the sale price was lower the next week. Setup is very easy!

    Very good performance & value!

This is a *very* nice Smart TV with some nice pluses - 1080P, multiple HDMI jacks, USB, Optical audio, WiFi and Roku connectivity makes it great for bedroom or other medium sized room. The remote is very simple by Roku; having only a few buttons. Your programmable CATV / Satellite / Other remote will provide more options when the correct Insignia brand code is selected.. *however* it will only operate the TV functions. The Roku functions are *not* an IR (Infrared) type. These are BlueTooth or RF types which are not possible to be duplicated by a programmable IR remote (no "point anywhere remote" is an IR type). Logitech's $200 "Ultimate" remote (the one with a powered hub & remote) will control the the TV and Roku - according to Logitech's site. Had the Roku function been IR (like most of their stand-alone types) thereby capable of being operated by a programmable remote - I'd have given the TV 5 stars; minus one star for the simple RF Roku remote.

Set-up was quick and easy. Attach cable boxes and any other devices. Power on and the TV immediately finds available wireless ID's and connects upon entering your password. The Roku platform works great. The TV initially comes up with a screen with input selections. There are power up options in the menu that allow for a number of power-up choices including power-up to TV (cable box). After customizing the picture settings picture is very good. I have not noticed any motion blur or other artifacts. The remote is a Roku remote. Most Insignia remotes work with all the Insignia TV's by the way.I have several Insignia TV's and have not been disappointed with any of them.

    I LOVE THIS TV!

I first bought an open box TV online and there was a small place at the top where the frame was loose from the TV screen. Best Buy took it back and we got a new one. Very smooth transaction. It was easy to hook up the TV.......very easy. We have an expensive Sharp Smart TV in our living room, and this Insignia TV is everything that the Smart TV claims to be, but isn't. We can watch anything at the flick of a finger. It comes in quick and there is no waiting to set up. Also, the search feature is fabulous. We type out any movie or TV show we want to see and it finds what it is on, how much it is or if it is free. All we do is select where we want it from and, Voila, we are there! Love it!

I bought this tv a couple of days ago and it has been a great TV thus far. The picture is bright and vivid which i like and the Roku streaming services on the TV are awesome. The webpage here and on insignia both show this TV has 2 HDMI ports but they did a revision 2 to the set and it has 3 HDMI ports for those looking for something in 40 inches and has 3 HDMI inputs. I would recommend this tv to a friend or family member.

This tv is awesome! We bought it for our kids to play their new gaming system and stream through Amazon prime. We didn't need a highly recognized brand or overpriced tv, just something for those purposes. When we set it up, my kids and husband were happy to see all of the channels that we could stream through our cable provider. The picture is clear and the sound is really good. I like how the streaming channels and hdmi ports are the first thing that pops up, so it's easy for anyone to use. The only complaint, the volume buttons are on the side of the remote, so it's easy to accidentally hit them on accident if you have the remote anywhere near you.

I wanted a 40" T.V. for under $300. I saw this smart TV and had to have it. This is going in a spare bedroom that I use for an office. The Smart TV feature was an added bonus. I have Netflix & Amazon Prime, so this was a great value. Set up was super easy. I have verizon fios and the only issue was programming the Fios remote. Still cant get volume to work so will need 2 remotes for now. The picture and sound quality is better than expected. I got my Dad the 32" for Christmas, to replace his old tube TV. He loves his. I would recommend this if you are on a budget. Its a great gift for anyone.

    Good choice

I'm very pleased with the product overall. There are a couple of shortcomings though. One is the remote's design. The volume/mute button is on the SIDE. I am constantly muting the sound accidentally when I pick up or sit down the remote. It could also have some more buttons for direct access to features rather than having to go through a menu. The other big shortcoming to consider is that I have several other things I would like use with my tv that are older technology, and they require component inputs and this tv only has one component input, so this is something to consider if you can live with only one. As far as the tv itself and the Roku feature, I am very satisfied.

This is absolutely the best TV I have owned. I was skeptical of Roku being built in as I had never experienced it before, but man is it great. There are tons of apps available to you. Even a few that are free that include movies and TV shows. I enjoy being able to mirror the screen from my phone to the TV without purchasing anything extra as well. I would 100% recommend you to buy this TV.

5 Stars on my FIFTH Insignia Television

Love this - while moving some furniture around last week I actually accidentally knocked our 3 year old 39" set on the floor. It turned out to be a good thing as this set has absolutely GREAT definition/detail. The ROKU works great and is built in. The set is also light and you can fit it in the same space as a smaller set. Highly recommended - love their INSIGNIA sets.

Pleased with picture and setup. Compared to other smart TVs with 40 inch screens I saw in the store, I thought this was the best bang for the buck.

Love this thing. Our first experience with Roku and we're pretty satisfied. We've always had Netflix and haven't had cable for years, and we've kind of grown tired of netflix's dwindling selections. This thing (and Hulu) stunned us. We already ordered a roku stick for our other TV. But this TV is so stream lined! One cord!
