This tv is great since all I mainly watch is Netflix and gives me instant access to it plus many other cool apps. Could've been 5 stars if the remote had a number pad for watching regular tv

I'm enjoying this new smart tv because I was able to turn in my cable box and save $10-12 off my cable bill. I can now get my cable through their app as long as I have an Internet connection

I did purchase this as a floor display on clearance, so I got a really good deal on it, but I was going to pay retail for this or a similar model anyway. Insignia, if you didnt know, is an in-house brand made for Best Buy. This TV has built in Roku. If you already have a Roku account (I did, because i also have a Roku Stick) once you sign in, your apps get automatically downloaded. Here are the cons I found first: 1. The apps "forget" the video settings. Every time i want to watch Netflix or the cable app at night i need to adjust the screen brightness down all the way. 2. It occasionally looses wifi connection. This happens more often on 2.4ghz, and i will chalk that up to signal interference in the area. In the two months i've had it, its occurred about 5 times. Only once did i need to search for the network and connect again, the rest of the times, i just turned it off, waited, then turned it back on. 3. In my opinion, the feet are flimsy and need to have a wider footprint to make it more stable. Wall mounting, of course, will solve that. 4. IR remote, not wireless like other Roku devices. Now the pros: 1. Existing Roku users are very familiar with the easy to use interface 2. Multiple HDMI inputs 3. Very sharp signal and dark blacks. 4. If your cable provider has an app for Roku (like Spectrum does) you do not need to rent a cable box for this TV. Saves me $10/month rental, and I didnt have to run a new line to my room. 5. Very lightweight compared to other TV's i've owned in the past. In all, I think this is a great TV. Its exactly what I was looking for in a 40 inch. I've recommended it to others as well.

My new 40" Insignia Smart TV is wonderful. I love the clear vivid colors of shows that I'm watching and the size of the screen.

I researched tvs for a few months, as well as, available streaming devices. After becoming extremely dissatisfied with the prices of cable TV and the poor customer service I decided to "cut the cable"...at least partially. If you're looking to get a TV for a medium-sized bedroom/den I would suggest this product. You don't get the extremely high clarity of more expensive tvs, but I'd say it's a little above good enough. The pre-installed Roku is an awesome feature to boot. The interface is user friendly and provides a lot of programming. I reduced my cable package, but couldn't get rid of it completely due to certain stations not being available via Roku. Overall I would recommend making the purchase, especially if you're a price conscious consumer.

This is replacing an old tube tv and we love it. We opted for the Roku smart tv because we previously used a Roku box. So it was really simple to set up and get watching.

The tv has great picture and voice quality. I am able to use all the apps like Netflix and Hulu directly from the tv, allowing for things to be more at my own convience.

It is a nice tv. I replaced a plasma tv with this one and it is okay. No problems so far. I like the built in Roku. It is convenient not to worry about a separate box.

I purchased this tv for under $300, which is great for a smart tv. Clear picture, sound is very good and the ability to watch Netflix, YouTube, etc on a big screen is very useful.

This TV has a really good screen and with the ROKU built-in makes it even better. WiFi works great and it was easy to set up. Just wish the remote was bigger, it's easy to loose.
