This is a great little DVD player !!!! It's easy for my granddaughter to use . A bit expensive for a portable though !!!!!!!!

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. I gave it to him early because we went to Disneyworld in Orlando a few weeks before Christmas. He hates to ride in the car for any length of time but he watched a movie going and coming home. He also watches it at home! It was definitely worth the money.

Player works fine, but the reason we got it was to plug it into the hotel tv when we traveled. A/V cable is 10" - too short to even reach any tv connections - and the connectors are FEMALE. The connections on every tv are FEMALE. The A/V cable connectors should be MALE. Whose genius idea was that?!

This is a great little DVD player. I purchased it for my toddler to cut down on data usage on our iPad on our frequent long road trips. It's perfect! The swivel screen allows me to flip the screen around and fold it back on itself so he can't get to the buttons. Great battery life, great picture, great price. My only criticism would be volume level. Not a huge con, but I wish it would go just a little higher. It would probably be fine if we didn't drive a loud diesel truck, but at high speeds, it's a little hard to hear unless it's relatively close to you. It does have a jack for audio output for headphones or to plug in a speaker, but it gets the job done without. All in all, I would highly recommend it!

I bought this player for my Daughter to replace a much older DVD player that was not working. My Daughter watches many DVDs and wanted a bigger screen. This player is easy to use and the screen besides being larger can be turned so that it can be viewed without having to move the player. The price was reasonable compared to many other alternatives with smaller screens.

I am happy with this DVD player. Although it is a bit thicker than I wanted, it is relatively lightweight. The battery life and picture quality are good, but I wish the volume increased louder and a case would have been included.

I was looking for an easy convenient way to watch the DVD's I made from my TiVo. I have a number of old TV programs that I copied on to DVD's. Without disturbing the rest of the family, I want to watch them. I had tried a DVD added to my Surface Pro, but it is too many pieces to be convenient. Thus trying the portable DVD player. It is easy to use. My Mom used it while we were watching college football. She enjoyed it. Good time on portable power-2 to 3 hours. Fast recharging. Light weight. I am so glad I bought. Got for a good price.

I like the size of picture screen. I also like the fact that the screen can rotate and lie flat in the rotated position. The sound quality is good but the volume should be louder. The unit should include a seat back harness to attach to a car seat. It has been difficult to find a harness that will work with this unit. Although I was able to locate a harness.

Love it! I'm in the oil field and we have down time. I find having this DVD player kills time for me. It works off of a car charger or about 2 hours battery. The screen can pivot 180 degrees. Makes it easy to see at all angles. I can turn it off. Then turn it back on and it will play where I left off in the movie.

I bought this as a replacement for a dropped unit. It had newer features than my last portable. The folding swivel screen is a nice touch and the minimized button layout makes it easy for my kids to operate. -The battery lasts long enough for a couple of days worth of commutes (50 miles/day), but it does come with charger port hardware to run off of an outlet. -The screen resolution is average and the brightness is acceptable. -The volume level, and reason for the 3-star rating, is poor. Though it has stereo speakers the sound just doesn't play that loud. It's especially noticeable on movies/shows that aren't recorded with that much fidelity and it doesn't always downmix 5.1 movies to 2-channel for it to play correctly. If you're in a noisy car cabin or area, use headsets or get another player. For the price, it is a good unit. It is something that you can afford to have torn-up by fighting 5-year-olds but there are better units out there for not that much more. It'll serve most needs.

I purchased this product for my six year old for traveling purposes when his other portable DVD player broke. I was not looking to spend much so this one caught my eye since it was the best price. He used it during two 10 hour train rides and it was a life saver. The picture & sound quality is good, it holds charge for a good period of time and it is easy to use. Good product for the price.

This portable DVD player is lightweight, extremely easy to use, and very convenient. The screen could be a little bigger, but it has really good picture quality. I was a great value at the Deal of the Day price!

Not the sturdiest construction but it has a nice picture and good features. My 5 year old grandson has been using it to watch videos and if he hasn't destroyed it yet it has to be good. Charges in about two hours and runs for about 2 1/2 hours when fully charged. Very light and easy to handle for a 5 year old.

The Insignia DVD Player has good color/contrast on the screen, and it's easy to figure out the controls. No batteries are needed, and that's good. The highest Volume could be a bit stronger, but it's OK.

These are great. Returned a different brand dual screen after breaking with 1 hour of use. Bought 2 of these in its place and am pleased. Easy to use, good picture and good sound. The ability to flip the screen over and make it tablet-like is perfect for the kids.

These dvd players are so easy to use and the screen is a nice size. My daughter loves hers so much we have a backup for her just in case. Very easy to use and long battery life.

Purchase this through the deal of the day got a very great price and was surprised at how clear it is very portable can take it along in my work truck watch instructional videos while I'm on break very pleased with the product

I bought this DVD player last minute for my aunt so she could watch her movies while traveling long distance. I love the style of this DVD player. It's compact and easy to use. It shows well and the volume is great. I just wish it had a longer battery life. I'm thinking of purchasing one for myself.

I had several options to choose from at the time, I took advantage of the Online sale and had been wanting a portable dvd for my Son to watch while in the truck. This one had the biggest screen for the cost and It also has a swivel screen, allowing you to face the controls opposite of the viewer (my 1.5 yr old genius) that comes in handy. The screen also tilts forward and backward in the swivel positions. Amazing Buy and worth the Money.

My daughter's beloved Toshiba portable DVD player broke on the first leg of a two week family road trip. Read reviews, counted on Best Buy brand and hurriedly picked up the Insignia model in TN. Worked flawlessly with my daughter commenting on the improved picture quality. No remote like the Toshiba but really not an issue. Battery lasted long enough to make it to an overnight charge.
