It's works great with me will recommend if you work repairing your computer

Absolutely necessary if you are going to work on the guts of your PC or in this case, building up a new gamer PC. This is well priced and insures sensitive electronics are not damaged by static electricity. Don't ruin hundreds of dollars worth of equipment, buy an anti-stat device.

If you plan on opening your computer's case, I recommend using this anti-static wrist band on all builds and upgrades. It is the simplest safety precaution to prevent static electricity. In the past, I just assumed I would not have any problems. That was a mistake on one of upgrades. Better be safe than sorry

This product protects your equipment from static energy when you are working on it. I was a little upset about how it would interfere with the ability to use your hand, but after using it I found that it doesn't at all.

Works super well and is very easy and lightweight. Good quality Velcro strap with very decent price.

It is a simple device that functions properly. It is a little shorter than the straps that I'm use to, but not so short that it is a problem.

The product is very good, overall, and an important thing to have when working with computers, should you overlook keeping your body grounded unintentionally. But watch out for that alligator clip! It comes off very easily and could leave you vulnerable. As a result, I still tried to be conscientious about at least touching the frame when handling sensitive components. Used this as a failsafe.

I bought this because I was building my first gaming computer from scratch. I knew I didn't want to damage my CPU or fragile components, so I purchased this so I wouldn't build up static electricity. This product is easy to put on, wear, and it works. The value was good too, as in cheap but effective.

I recently had to take apart my custom built desktop after an accident (tower fell 3 feet to the ground, damaged the case inside and out). I had misplaced my original anti-static bracelet purchased at Best Buy, which at the time of purchase was $5.99. Dynex™ - Antistatic Wristband - Black Model: DX-AWS100SKU: 6307463 I head to the store, notice they have one left on the shelf...INSIGNIA brand...look at price $7.99...and did a slight eye roll. I'm a bit of a cheap skate. I got the product home and unpackaged it. To my surprise it seems to be slightly better quality than the previous wristband purchased. Although, it was extremely similar in build and color to the original it seemed a slight bit bigger with more durable yellow plastic holding the steel connectors. It worked like a charm as I grounded myself to some nearby bare steel. I was able to successfully rebuild my computer into a new case and fire that puppy up in a matter of hours. I'm now enjoying some tallboys and back to internet surfing. Thank you Best Buy!

My son and I built his gaming computer and we were worried about static. He is 13. He wore the wristband and felt very confident. He built a super gaming computer and I am very proud of him.

This is essential gear when working on solid state circuit boards or breadboarding microcontrollers. I am sure it has saved me money by protecting my circuits from electrostatic discharge. The price is right too.

My son and I used this when we built his latest computer. It is supposed to ground you so that you don't fry any delicate, important circuitry while putting it all in the case, which is exactly what it did!

I replaced the hard drive in my computer. I purchased this antistatic wristband to use while removing the old drive and installing the new one. It was easy to use and apparently worked well.

I use this when working inside computers when static shock can hurt components. The strap protects against this. It's easy to wear due to a pivoting rivet. The cord is never in the way.

If your wanting to be super careful about your pc hardware than pick this up. While static is becoming less of an issue this product will provide a peace of mind to the user.
