Since these are lithium they should have a date much farther out :-(

I needed these at the time for my remote to my car. I was happy at 1st cuz insignia is my alternative to spending more money on an expensive brand that usually does the same job as an off brand. so I was hoping for these to come thru. Little did I know. After inserting the battery. it only worked for about 3 hrs then after that. nothing. I was pretty frustrated because now I had to look for my spare key and use my key manually to open my car and start it. I couldn't return the batteries because of the return policy on batteries. But yea, it would be nice if the company would send out charged batteries or atleast a shelf life so that customers who buy them wont run into this issue
