The holder is useful when the phone isn't in a case. The holder has to be attached to the phone permanently; if it is used on and off then the adhesive will be lost and become useless. This was a free item with the S8 plus and hence is ok. I wouldn't buy this especially for a phone like S8 Plus that has glass back and needs a case all the time.

Nice little accessory to serve as cell phone stand

This is a practical item, has a holder for your finger as well as being able to prop it up. However, I cannot put this cheesy Best Buy logo on my $700 phone.

If this stand did not come free with my phone purchase, I probably wouldn't have bought it. It is not a necessity; I've lived without it before now and I am unsure as to how much I will use it. The biggest objection I have concerns the bulkiness of the stand when I place the phone in my pocket.

Cell phone holder/stand came with my new phone. Between the high end case and screen protector, do not plan to use it, as it must affix to the back of your phone. Would also catch while putting in and taking out of front pocket.
