This VGA adapter makes hooking up your monitor to your laptop (in this case, my macbook air) very simple and very easy. Although it is a little more on the expensive side, you get what you pay for and I got everything i expected.

a special need for connecting projectors to an apple laptop. This item was priced originally at 67% of the equivalent apple product, and reduced further. I've owned both adapters and see no appreciable difference in performance.

I purchased the Insignia Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA Adapter so that a new Mac Air could be used with dual desktop monitors. Set up was simple and its compact size is helpful when packing the laptop bag for travel.

I needed an extra mini-display port adapter for my office because we have multiple monitors in various conference rooms that we all share. I liked this 3rd party adapter for the price. I plugged it in and it worked.

I like it. Its the right size and easy to pack in a bag.

The product worked as described. Still needs the VGA cable from this product to the projector. Plugged this product into the port on the MACBook and to the projector and was up and going right away.

The product worked at it was intended, no issues other than the cable I was connecting to it wouldn't allow me to screw it together to keep it secure. I don't blame the product for that, but the older technology I was connecting to. Over all the product worked, I just had to be careful not to bump the connection and disconnect it.

This adapter works well for adding an additional external monitor to my laptop.. although it is labeled as an Apple product, it works for Windows systems, as well.

I bought this to connect second monitor to my I Mac. It works fine. Only one small thing when you put your computer in sleep mode and then at start point both screens blacked out for a second and then up and running normally.

This device is great to have if you are always doing presentations, you never know what type of connection will be in the room so this is a great investment.

I purchased a new laptop and already had a second monitor that was older. This piece worked perfectly, I don't need to spend MORE money on another monitor.
