The Insignia - USB 2.0 SD/MMC/MS Memory Card Reader does exactly what it is supposed to do. I plugged into the USB port, and started uploading my files to a micro SD card immediately. No software to install - just plug it in. Simple. Easy. And that's the way I like it. My only complaint is the 5 inch ( yes, I measured it ) USB cord, which doesn't allow for a lot of placement flexibility. But I can live with that. Photo uploaded with a quarter coin in the picture to show the size of the SD reader.

This is one of the few card readers that can read the Sony memory stick-- it's small, easy to use, and inexpensive.

I like this memory card reader because it is compatible with a memory stick duo, a micro SD card and regular SD card. It plugs right into my printer and I can print pictures without using my computer. Works great!

This Memory Card Reader has been so helpful and worth the price. You can insert 3 different sized on one piece of equipment. It has saved me several trips to the CVS photo department. It is easy to use and small enough to store anywhere. Totally worth the price. I love this product.

Functional, Compact, Compatible, Well Priced. What is there not to like? Moreover, why are not all tech gadgets designed with similar guidelines?

Great performance easy to use and a great value for the money

I have an IMAC Early 2009 model (don't know why they'd call it that), and it seems this model was released a fraction of a second before the proliferation of the new stand SD card, therefore, this model doesn't have an SD slot. Luckily, I was able to find this dohickey so I use the cards from my camera on my Mac now. The other thing I like about this one is that, because it's not a thumb drive with a slot on it, I don't have to keep turning the MAC around to stick the card into the thumb drive. This reader has a USB cord, so I can plug it in and use the slot without moving the computer.

I knew I would be taking many photos on vacation and wanted to have multiple ways to upload as we were out of internet and Wi-Fi range. This device was compact and uploaded readily.

Transfers pictures quick and easy to use. Glad I purchased this one as it works much better than my last one.

This is a great little card reader. It's very easy to use, plug-n-play capable on Mac. Wish it had USB 3.0 transfer speeds and a slightly longer cable, but for the price, it's well worth it.

compact ,handy memory card reader .Easy to carry & use. Its one didn't work but tech support @ Insignia very helpful & no problems with exchanging @ Best Buy. 2 nd works great.

It works great, and is easy to use. The multi card reader makes it easy for most flash formats.

I first purchased the thumb-drive version with (2) slots for the camera memory and the micro memory. (Excuse my non-technical lingo). The problem was that my CPU's USB port positioned the slot for card reader upside-down. Just my luck. So rather than buy a USB cable for $19.99 (with 6 ft of cable) to twist the reader into the correct position - I purchased this, even though it has a slot I will not use. This idea was cheaper than a cable and the original thumb-drive version. All that said - it works good. On occasion it stalls but this is not a big deal. It starts again. 4 stars 'cause of the occasional stall.

Reasonably priced, used to read an SD card and older memory sticks. Good enough for me!
