    Adding a 2nd external monitor to a laptop that had only one HDMI connector. The monitor was an old one that had only VGA. So this adapter was the perfect solution. It installed automatically (no special drivers needed), and offered the proper resolutions to maximize the display. So I worked as needed. What more could I ask for?

    I purchased these for a project that I was doing I ordered some desktops to install at a church and I realized that once the desktops arrived they didn't have a VGA output they just had DisplayPort outputs so I had to think quick!!! Best buy had these in stock locally and I installed them and they worked like a charm!! the client is still using the adapter right now they were installed in January of 2020.
