    exactly what I needed to start the work from home trend due to the covid 19 outbreak - I did not need to buy a new monitor with this adapter I was able to use an additional existing monitor and hook it up to an "older" desktop the device was a bit pricey - but so much less and the alternative of a new monitor so I could get the connection works perfectly
