Bought this so I could play online games with my husband since our Xbox systems are in different rooms, I have been using this hooked up to my phone and it is working great. When I first tried to use it hooked up through the Xbox controller it was too quiet, it was like a super quiet whisper, this is with the volume all the way up. I have changed settings and it got a little better, still experimenting with it. Overall it works for me.

If you are looking for a simple, cheap but functional headset for gaming, this is a good choice! I have 2 more expensive ones, and this is more comfortable than both! Also, the boom mike on this unit is very flexible, so it is easy to reposition. Sound is surprisingly good, and I even use it for phone calls sometimes. And if my cat eats the cord (again), I am only out a little cash!

Its cheap, it works, and the microphone is easy to maneuver which is important. Plug and play, Let the crap talking begin.

For the price this headset does the job. Owned for a couple months and it hasn't broken. So for the money which was less than $20 I'm satisfied.

This little head set worked good for its price. My boys preferred the ear muff type on both sides, but these worked just fine

i needed some head phones for my softphone that we use for work on our thin client (laptop) so i can communicate back and for with people. sound it great, i LOVE the fact that you can turn the mic on or off in case you need to say something to someone while you are still on the phone. and the price was unbeatable.

I was just looking for a replacement for the default Microsoft headset. This is it. I tried a couple different headsets before this one but this one was by far the best. The earpiece is comfortable, I am able to hear my friends clearly, and most importantly they can hear me clearly as well. If you are just looking for a one to one replacement for the stock XB1 headset, this is it.

Went in to Best Buy to replace a broken Xbox chat headset. I usually buy the Microsoft headset and was skeptical when i saw the Insignia brand chat headset which was significantly cheaper in price. I must say i am pleasantly surprised with the comfort and sound quality. Easy to use volume and mute controls on the wire. A no brainer to buy this again.

Has clear sound, light weight, comfortable adjustable fit

I love this headset because it works great and it’s cheap. My cat likes to chew through the wires every now and then and it can be costly to replace the nicer headsets. These are awesome and cheap to replace. Sound quality is good and you can choose if you want to hear chat or game sound through Xbox menu.

While not a professional grade headset the sound is very good and the headset is very affordable.

Thanks to the new update, you can head game audio and chat and balance what you want to hear more of. This headset is perfect if you just want to chat, but if you play late at night and need to put volume on tv down, you can turn game volume up some and hear the game audio through the earpiece. It's the perfect price point.

Purchased this as a replacement for a more expensive headset my son previously had that due to carelessness, broke. It's as basic as it gets, but for the price - it's a great value! No "bells & whistles". Fits his head well and is comfortable. Best yet, does what it's supposed to - he hears and talks to his Gamer Friends. Happy with this purchase
