I have this filter in my bedroom where I required something efficient and quiet. This is the perfect fit. Set-up was simple and it was up and running withing 15 minutes. The touch panel is simple and intuitive with all the necessary functionality needed to tailor your usage. I chose to put the system on Auto. My standard test for filters is when I light candles. And it kicks in just as it should with the appropriate amount of power. The backlight on the panel is also adaptive. When the lights go down, it turns off. In the day, it’s bright and visible. You also have the ability to keep on or off, but I enjoy the adaptive setting and the sensors do well. No app with this one, but with this model, I don’t deem it necessary. Lots of power when needed, with very little electrical footprint. Leaving it on all the time is preferred for me so my air is always clean and fresh. Filter is easy to change and unit is very easy to clean. Simple. Straightforward air purification.

    It’s a filter-plug in & forget

I’m not entirely sold on its cylindrical shape, and even less on it’s car intake style filter. But it works and gets the job done. I use this in a small living room and normally after a few days without cleanings the carpet turns white from dust and the dogs shedding. On top of it all, the PC in the room tends to suck a lot of this up. With the filter in under the auto setting, this has seemingly reduced the amount of dirt that builds up. It’s significantly noticeable on the filters of the PC itself. Over the short period of ownership, I've been able to witness it go from a standby state into high when releasing dust from a microfiber near the purifier. Took roughly 30 seconds to pick up the dust particles. However, with the packaged good, there’s always a bad. The color scheme they decided to go with on the control panel is terrible. Unless you have an actual light source shining on the controls, you can’t see anything. While the panel lights are on however, you can at least see the outlines of each tactile button but you have to memorize each functions location. Couldn’t they have added translucent text so when the lights are on you can read what everything says?

This Instant Air Purifier really works. I was kind of skeptical because of the small size, but this little guy has made a big difference in the way I breathe. I have it placed next to my bed and I can honestly say that I am not as stuffy as I used to be. This Instant Air Purifier is very easy to set up, so in no time it will start working to clean the air around you. It has different modes that you can easily adjust. It has 3 fan speeds and depending on how sensitive you are to noise at night, you will hardly notice it. I usually keep mine at the second level at night and I crank it up to 3 during the day. It does come with an eco mode that runs super quiet. Overall, I am very impressed with this Instant Air Purifier, because it does a great job of cleaning the air around you to the point where you will notice a difference. If you are looking for a small air purifier, I highly recommend this one.

Nice Auto Function; Needs An App

I like that this unit in Auto mode adjusts to the level of air quality. However, there's no accompanying app to show air quality readings or current function mode. It's supposed to tell you the air quality level by light color on top of the unit, white for high, yellow for medium, red for low. I have my unit placed in a small den and it has stayed on white and pretty much stays in Eco mode all the time and Night mode (all indicator lights turn off) when the room lights are turned out and it's dark. I guess I should be pleased that it's indicating I have high air quality 24x7 but it would be nice to see the actual readings on an app. The plasma ion technology is actually supposed to clean the air while the unit is running, but there is no way of knowing if it actually is without an app with air quality readings.. I haven't noticed any difference but it's been running only a few weeks. Maybe I just have clean air in my house. (I do vacuum every other day.) You can take it off auto and run the fan on high, medium or low but I haven't done that yet, I've kept it on auto and let it do it's thing. It's very quiet unless the fan speed is high and then it's just the air noise, no motor noise. Mine has never turned the fan speed to high while in Auto mode. The quality of the product seems to be pretty good and it's a decent price point for the features included.

    Small and effective

I've become addicted to air purifiers as of late. I didn't realize how much they can help with my dust mite contact allergy and seasonal allergies. I've got them everywhere around the house and now another is putting in work. The Instant Air Purifier is a small, but powerful purifier for smaller rooms. It has auto sensing (which I don't like for any purifier since they go by smells/VOC instead of actual dust) and three speed settings. Now, I have no clue why just about every air purifier mfg decides on 3 or 4 speed settings. The first 2 and 3 are quite and barely draw any power, but once you hit the top speed it's turbo engine time. They don't think anyone would use an in between setting. The Instant Purifier does 4w, 12w, and then jumps to 38w! What happened to 24w? 12w is too low for much good but 38w is too much to be around without being annoyed. Good thing there's a timer so I can turn it on high and go to work. Don't expect the carbon to do much. Just about all purifiers use cheap thin useless carbon filters. The HEPA itself can filter out some smells, the thin carbon really does nothing. You need pounds of carbon to put a dent into smells. I just had a few gripes, but those are general ones that apply to most purifiers. But in the end, the Instant is gave me another room that I can enter and touch stuff without having to worry too much about dust mites breaking me out.

I needed an air purifier for my living area and this one fits the bill. It was very easy to set up. It didn't need an additional app to download, which is great. It's basically plug into the wall, turn on, and now you have great clean air. It also removes odors that you can't detect. Highly recommend.

In our area, we tend to get fires, deal with smog, and constant weather changes. When the wind picks up the soot from the fires sits in the mountains and unfortunately, gets inside our home. Tested the purifier first in my living room and then in our bedroom. Could notice a difference in about 30 minutes to an hour. Less of a fire ash/dust smell. After using the purifier for a day, the living space was more breathable. My entire family could notice the difference. There is an ionizer setting, a filter indicator button to let you know when it's time to change the filter, and settings for turning up the purifier. I like that there is a light button for the purifier so that you can see the settings. Overall a great product. Yes, I would recommend this product. Oh! and if you are concerned about noise. The purifier is very quiet. Not loud at all. Pros: Not Loud Easy to use Cleans the air fast Cons: Have none at the moment.

Love the light feature with different levels of intensity or can be tuned off completely. Having a child who likes to have lights on for bed makes this purifier a 2-in-1 for me. It’s lightweight and the top panel digital buttons allow for ease of use. 3 fan levels, ion on/off, power button and light on/off/diff intensity levels gives options for everyone. When leaving home, I put on the highest level 3 to allow for deep cleaning of the air, and while I’m gone I select between level 1 and 2 depending on what’s going on in the room. When your teen wants to paint her nails in her room and you have this purifier in there, it makes all the difference. Make sure before first use to open the bottom and remove the plastic from the filter, insert the filter back in and place bottom cover back on. I’d recommend this purifier.

The Instant - Air Purifier, Small Room is small and discreet. The Instant - Air Purifier, Small Room blends in with the master bedroom. It really is quiet and has an eco-mode. We have dogs that come in and out of the room, sometimes they lay around in the room, when we aren't looking. Clears out the dog smell and really does a noticeable reduction in airborne particulates. It is pretty much a set it and forget air purifier. More than quiet enough to sleep, I don't realize its' on most of the time. Maybe, if the air quality is bad in your area, the fan might kick on higher and then you notice it. But for us, it's super quiet and very in obtrusive. It works great in the bedroom, being small and quiet!

This is one of the best air purifiers I have ever owned - I believe it might be the best. Here's why: Many of the air purifiers I have used in the past have a light SOMEWHERE on the unit that stays on whenever the unit is on. For a bedroom unit that we run at night, this can be very annoying. However, the Instant Air Purifier has a touch button to turn off the light - amazing! It is very easy to use and also very attractive for an air purifier. I have owned much more expensive air purifiers than this one, and I can say this one at the very least ties those in looks, ease of use, and functionality. Highly recommended!

This air purifier works well, the set up was very easy, and the lights for the controls can be turned off! The only real downfall is that it is a little on the loud side, like a louder fan. It is the perfect size for a bedroom and has made our allergies less severe as well as less dust accumulating on surfaces. It circulates air well for a decent sized bedroom, too, enough to supplant the fan we already ran in the bedroom. I'd recommend giving this unit a try if you're in the market for a air purifier or a bedroom fan, as it works well for both!

The AP100 from the Instant Pot makers is a sleek, modern and stylish air purifier. The touch sensitive buttons on top and the backlighting lend to the overall looks. I like the 360 degree air intake holes and upward exhaust. It feels more like an air purifier than a fan like so many others. Controls are straightforward and simple to understand. The auto mode turns off backlighting when the room is dark. It also changes colors when the sensor detects pollutants, smoke, voc; white-clean, amber-medium, red-high. I put it in a kitchen environment to test it along side a much larger automated unit and was able to see both units turn on at the same time so it works, just not in a bedroom setting. In a bedroom, it stays white all the time and the fan never turns on unless you do it manually. Putting your hand above the unit while silent, you do feel some kind of agitation to the air, which could be the plasma ion tech releasing the particles into the air. But it's hard to say whether this unit is actually purifying the air when it's not actively drawing air in to purify, unless of course it senses pollution. I like the AP100, it has sensors that work, it's quiet and will work hard to clean the air if it needs to. Whether it's doing anything in idle mode, is up for debate. Worth getting if you intend to put it near the kitchen.

This Instant air purifier is excellent. It purifies the air and constantly monitors and adjusts the fan speed as necessary. It removes odors, pet dander, mold, tobacco smell and smoke. We have three dogs and typically their smell isn’t bad but in the summer months with therm being outside, at times it’s unavoidable and this helps to control it and rid my office of the odor. The controls are simple and I tend to leave it always set to “auto” so that it does its thing as needed but you can control the fan speed if you want to circulate the air a bit quicker. It has what is called “plasma ion technology” that says it will remove 99.9% of pollutants, viruses and bacteria. I personally can’t test for that however, it really seems to be doing a great job. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this filter as long as you remember it isn’t for large spaces.

Excellent purifier. When they say quiet this unit is exactly that. You cannot hear this thing running at all on low speeds. If you of course put it on high you will hear it, but it's not deafening. It has an auto mode so it's plug and play. It monitors the air quality for you so nothing for you to worry about. It also has a ionizer built in so it makes it that much more efficient. One piece of advice, please make sure to turn it upside-down and unscrew the bottom to remove the plastic bag covering the filter. It's easy to forget and you will never know the difference if you forget to remove the bag. I use it in my bedroom and it works flawlessly. A must have!
